Seeing the size and depth of the D-Line gets me excited.

Weird tidbit after looking at the depth chart:

Myles Brennan at 6-5 183 is the skinniest guy on the team!

Only 2 players weigh less, CB Terrence Alexander at 6-0 182, and CB Kary Vincent at 5-10 181. They weigh less but are much shorter. Heck, even Cole Tracy, the kicker, is beefier at 5-11 188.

I like Myles but he’s one skinny dude.

I get the metabolism argument to a degree, but how you can't put on a single pound in a year is baffling to me.

The left side of our OLine is light... no one over 310... that scares me

The average weight of many solid nfl offensive lines isn’t over 310, so why does it phase you that LSU’s might not be?

He's got to both eat the right foods and work out to bulk out and build muscle mass.

Here's a picture from Joey B's Instagram account after 2 years of working out.

really feels like JaCoby is way more suited to FS instead of SS. Id love to get him at Delpit on the field

CB - Fulton
CB - Joseph
SS - Delpit
FS - JaCoby
CB - Greedy

there you go, QBs. good luck

edit: nevermind, the depth chart is just fricked up, I think, it has Delpit and Stevens at SS and Battle at FS, should be the other way

Chris Curry 4th???

In reality he's 3rd, and not far behind the top 2. His placement at 4th on the depth chart distributed to the media is out of respect for the Fournettes.

Delpit is too good at roaming centerfield as a FS to be replaced at that position, but I do agree it would be nice to get an athlete like Jacoby on the field more.

Love seeing the true freshmen make an impact. Chase, Marshall, Joseph, etc. Future looks bright!

Didn’t you dickheads give me a hard time a few weeks ago for saying Giles was a redshirt junior?

You don’t even have to know wtf you’re talking about to troll on here anymore.

Trying to figure out why there is an -OR- btw Dwhite and Queen.
Depends on the defensive alignment.

If going with only 2 LB, they will likely both be Rovers, hence Queen and White on the field simultaneously (technically at the same position).

And if you have White at MLB, with gap responsibility you may want Queen at Rover (depending on S's responsibility).

I shouldn't say "likely"... the personnel decisions for Aranda aren't necessarily based on set groupings. They are mostly based on in-game trends.

Basically, the "or" is there, in Rover's case, because of nomenclature and White's ability to play all responsibilities from the middle or lined up on the edges of the box.

many, myself included, are surprised to see McMath that far down on the depth chart. We've been hearing how much Chase is the real deal (physical freak WITH WR skills), but Marshall must not be far behind them. Not surprised at all by JefferSwag 2.0

Austin deculus at LG is interesting. Not cutting it at RT or depth reasons?

not cutting it... yet. He needs more time and experience. OG is a good place for that. However, don't be shocked to see him sub in OT regularly. Just not for many plays in a row at one time.

It's really hard to pin down where he's struggling at. In a way, he's not really struggling in one area alone. Just below par in all areas enough where the cumulative effect is quite ugly. Simply can't point to one thing with him and say "fix that and you'll be ready". At same time, can't point to one thing and say "you are horrible at ________".

By the way, that makes him a difficult coaching job. Watching Deculus' progression over this and going into next year will be an excellent barometer of Cregg.
