Rewatching that baseball game, the lack of defense and the baserunning in that game was awful. That was probably Shipp's worst outing that year. He was hanging curveballs all day. Had the wind been blowing out that day, Miami crushes LSU. Arteaga made our lefties at the plate look really bad. I know Morrison was the closer but Morris might have been foolish not to use Westphal to bridge to Morrison and they might have won. Really an unbelievable way to win considering the deficit in the 7th.
