You just said something was wrong, that you can't possibly know is wrong.

He can't possibly know it is right, either, but he has made a pretty compelling case. Nobody is actually going after what he presents, they just whine about what he presents and offer the standard memes of the day.

If you want to spread the D out some and give yourself a chance at greatness in exchange for a chance at losing 6 games, then JL is worth another look."

+1

JJ has a much lower ceiling and and much lower floor. Personally I'd rather take the chance to be something special than be assured of 7 to 9 wins and a bowl. I think this year we will really see if Les is truly a "gambler" or not.

good fricking post dude.
I agree.

What part of me being right about JJ as the main problem in us being 112th ranked, did you miss?

Every spot on the team appears* to be better. Except one. We are now ranked 107th in passing. That area is not improving. Pretty much any unbiased observer can now tell you who the weakest link is. We are coming up on 1/4th of our season, and no will can say hes improved since his first start. Not even you.

Any person defending JJ at this juncture is only trying to save face (including Miles & Crowton)

jl is a gutsy winner he could have walked away but didn't. I think he's done what it takes to win and all the players and knowledgable fans have seen it I think he's ready.I've changed 180 dagrees. It was clear in the spring game that he had passed jj .

I have said that dozens of times.

JL will win games for you. . .but he will lose them as well.

JJ will do neither. . .which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

You were right about one game. . .this season.

Good for you.

You mean our running game and lack of adequate OL play?

The only thing that makes people think JL should be the guy, is that he is not JJ.

I agree that Lee needs to get more snaps, but some of you guys are just ridiculous.

Even you can admit that UNC at full strength would have made me right for both games.

And the difference in both weeks return yardage, is solid proof of UNCs depletion status

not really what was said.

JL has opp to turn this offense into a machine.
He also may turn it into a "more" loss team.

JJ gonna let def and special teams win games for us b/c hes not gonna do either win or lose any UNTIL you need a qb when you play teams like bama, fla and au.

Id take my chances on JL and hope we could be great than another 8-4 9-3 season with JJ.
Chuck, Gordy and many many LSU fans agree.

meh. As been pointed out on other occasions lately, hes way off his game.
I'm not off my game. I've never been off my game. Mostly because I don't play games on this board.

And if this was a game, I wouldn't lose because I don't make shite up. I don't try to present opinion as fact, or bullshite as informed opinion.

Trying to defend JJ has dropped him significantly on the "posters with good insight" list.
I haven't tried to defend JJ in this thread. Moreover, I haven't tried to bury Lee.

You have an agenda. I don't. I simply present the facts and eliminate the bullshite. It's obvious in my posts.

You, on the other hand, prefer to live in bullshite. It's obvious in your posts.

JustMe appears to be more about saving face, than facing facts. Its really pretty distasteful at this point.
Now this is really amusing. I have done nothing but present facts in this thread.

One question RobbBobb: Do you still cling to your tightly held belief that Abner Doubleday invented baseball?

Thanks for proving my point. That was witty about the first 4 times of the 483 times you've used it

Means we never get to the SECCG if JJ plays QB

The whole he had a bad game, its gonna be OK schtick. Never heard that from him (or others) after LaTech.
Willful ignorance.

Let's compare Jefferson's Vandy game to the rest of his games. The facts are incontrovertible. At 40%, it was by far his worst game. However, the Vandy game is a data point that does not correlate with the rest of his starts. In short: He had a bad game.

Let's compare Lee's Tech game to the rest of his games. At 32%, it was Lee's worst game. Unfortunately, Lee had two other games under 40% and two other games at 40%. The Tech game is a data point that tends to be in a cluster of other subpar games. One other point: the Tech game was against a WAC team at home. The Vandy game was against an SEC foe on the road. That's not an indictment of Lee; that's just the facts.

quote:

He took a stand, which now appears foolish, but cannot bring himself to admit that he might have been wrong.
I have always stated that Lee should play, and I hope he playes well. If I have taken a stand at all, it's that the Lee supporters have a need to pretend that the facts suggest that Lee is better than JJ. However, the facts tend to support JJ and not Lee. Moreover, and what is worse, Lee supporters can't seem to present an argument in favor of Lee without bashing JJ.

quote:

Its the tired, old, elitist attitude, that no matter the realities "I am right, because I am superior" attitude.
I'm not right because I am superior to you. I am superior to you because I am right. Deal with it.

It's me pointing out your ignorance.

Attempting to use NCAA rankings after two games to justify your argument is beyond ignorant.

Those rankings are completely misleading.

If you don't understand the logical, statistical, and just plain common sense reasons for that, you are hopeless.

I wouldn't call stats "facts", just me. One can argue that they don't give us the full picture.

Now here is pure unadulterated bullshite.

A JJ led team absolutely crushed Auburn last year.

A JJ led team had a great shot to beat Bama until JJ and PP were unable to play.
