Oh NO! This can't be ture....Ridley must be mistaken....we all know Lee is terrible and throws pick-6s!

i think there is just an incredibly vocal minority who cant see what most posters see: the only logical course of action is to have jefferson start. for the sake of continuity you have your struggling quarterback start the game. hope to hell he is successful. to have lee start leaves the potential for more problems than it can fix.
if you allow lee to come in for a bit either scripted or by the feel of the game then you can use it positively regardless of how it turns out.
i feel that miles is going to let the game play out and if jefferson continues to struggle let lee get some snaps. if lee is to become the starter eventually i still think it would be better to do it somewhat gradually.
its not worth all of you getting your panties in a wad over this. everything that can be said has been said and miles knows how the fans feel, but he has a team to coach, and god willing he will make the right decisions

Ridley respects the Flutie sleeves. He knows the real deal when he sees it.

I don't think anyone has said that Lee doesn't have talent. He wouldn't be at LSU if he didn't have talent.

No, I think Lee is fricking God, bruh! I thought you would of come to that conclusion by now.

Well, this is true if you consider throwing pick-6s as talent since that's been beat to death by some posters recently.

IMO the biggest problem with JJ is his inability to process the speed of the college game. When I watched kellen Moore play VT they showed multiple replays from the back endzone perspective showing the entire field. On probably 10 throws, Moore anticipated his WR route and threw the ball to a spot he was supposed to be. I cant say i remember JJ ever doing this, and if so, then it happens very rarely. Multiple times against UNC he almost got RS hurt by waiting to throw the ball. Even the completion to RR when he broke the tackle over the middle against Vandy the pass was thrown when Randle was less open because it was thrown late. He just doesnt have the ability to process the game and he throws the ball only when a receiver is staring at him wide open. This has not changed from last year and is the biggest reason, although poor o-line play was a factor as well, that he took so many sacks last year. the o-line play has improved and we havent played very good defensive fronts yet. UNC was missing multiple DL and vandy just isnt good on the DL.
i am not saying JL can do the job like Kellen Moore, but what i do know is that he does anticipate routes better (out route to lafell to win the game against auburn). I also feel he was thrown into the fire unprepared his first year with an immense pressure to perform before he was ready.
The issue is not that JJ has lost games, but it is that they way he has played we will lose multiple games in the SEC with that kind of QB play.
Let's see what JL has learned because JJ isn't going to win us the tough games against good defenses this year.

This is what I am starting to sense. If you yank JJ now, his confidence is shot. Let him start, if he does well then great for him, if not you can let JL start taking some series. If he does well, then he will continue to play. Why throw him to the wolves if you can ease him in. That may turn out the best way to reintroduce JL to build his confidence back up.

Miles is banking on this.....thats the funny thing...how dumb can you be to bank on that kid...i knew two years ago he would be the same...

How do I get a Start Lee avatar? I'm about to jump into the cool-aid head first if JJ stinks it up this weekend again.
Anyway, start JJ as not to hurt feelings, distupt continuity, keep nude pics of Les wife off the internet or whatever, I don't care. But if he starts stinking it up again, pull his tail out for a series and let lee see if he can do better. There will be a roar in TS that will drown out all memories of the boos he got last year. If lee stinks it up then let JJ see if the pine helped him figure things out.

"Playing at home is always great, we've always got the fans behind us. They will support us to the fullest. Loud crowd, that's what we've been wanting.
"I would just hope the fans will really be realistic. I'm a college player. I'm still working, still learning. I'm still trying to do my best that I can to help this team improve. I'm doing everything I need to do every week in practice, every day in practice just to improve us. I would hope they would keep faith in me and still have (give me) . . . time to wait for me to help the offense." - Jordan Jefferson, 9/14/10
This is sad, man, really sad. That a 20 year old college student, busting his butt and trying his best to succeed in NCAAF's toughest conference and in front of its toughest "fans", has to practically beg the Tiger faithful to be patient with him. If I was a highly-sought-after QB recruit, LSU would be one of the last places I think I would sign on to.
Talk about supporting your team and the players...Jeez!
