This actually makes me laugh every game when we obviously avoid showing the previous two LSU coaches who brought us 2/3 of our national titles during any video montage. It's like seeing some bitter ex-girlfriend cutting her ex out of photos she's in just so she can pretend she was never with him.

Obviously, we don't need to see Saban when BAMA is in town so long as he's there, but pretending he and Miles did not lead us to titles is weird to me. They are as much a part of our history as the players we see in those videos.

The players and coaches on that team. Phenomenal.

Oh...I know WHY, I just think it's silly. I felt the same when Miles was here and we never saw Saban in those same videos.

We are where we are mostly because of that early 2000 run and the subsequent years of Miles holding it together for most of that time. Purposefully cutting around them so that you don't accidentally see either holding up the crystal football feels like some Orwellian stuff to me!

I think I sort of agree with you. Any LSU fan that "hates" Nick Saban probably needs to get a clue.

However, I don't have a problem with not showing him on the board. I certainly don't have a problem with not showing Miles on the board after how his exit came about and went down.

I agree it's badly cut together. My biggest gripe is that they ought to add names and dates to the former players speaking. Yes...I know who they are, but how many regular fans in the stadium do? I'm constantly hearing people ask, "Who's that?" Would be a nice addition to simply add their name and playing dates on the screen in the corner when you see their face.

But yeah...I would prefer to go back to the first version.
