Well I'm either dead wrong or am thinking of another Vandy player from years ago. Anyone know any recent pitchers they've had that may have been first round out of high school and went to school at Vandy and moved up a hair in the draft? I could just be totally offbase and wrong though.

As far as Eirman, he's gone, LSU is not going to wait around, he probably has two weeks for a decision or LSU pulls the plug

As far as Purke, it will be like Ranaudo, he will go to Cape to prove he's okay and his offer will depend on that, he could also sign for less and let the MLB team rehab him if he needs anything surgery wise similar to what Brian Wilson did coming out of LSU
