I did learn recently that Tennessee can give in state tuition to any border state

Incorrect

quote:

While some Tennessee higher educational institutions do offer border waivers UTK does not provide waivers in out-of-state tuition to students residing in bordering states. Any waiver in out-of-state tuition received at another Tennessee higher educational institution would only apply while the student attends that institution and would not transfer. UTK does participate in the Academic Common Market with many neighboring states. Information regarding the Academic Common Market can be found at www.sreb.org or by contacting commonmarket@utk.edu.

I think they used to years ago before HOPE. Ole Miss used to do the same too back when I was in high school. Most of my friends (I'm from Memphis) who went to Ole Miss had OOS tuition waived.

JUCO arm I was a fan of, Marc Davis, off the board to Washington. We were never attached to him, but I've followed him for a couple years.

If Vitello said that, he's wrong. That link is straight from the UTK registrar's office. I think that may be the case at UT Martin or UT Chattanooga but not UT Knoxville. HOPE eliminated a lot of opportunities that used to be available for out-of-state students. It's A LOT harder to get into UT now (even for TN residents) than it was 15-20 years ago

If we hang on to the rest of our class, I'd consider it a big win. And Dugas.

The only one we know for sure about rn is Lansville, right?

Considering Kudrna, Jensen, and Moller were almost locks to sign I would as well.

I didn't expect to get back Fontenot AND Hilliard and there's a chance we get Labas back as well.

Correct. The only one I'm watching out for right now is Josh Pearson. Leto and Simon are both in as well as the others.

Interesting take by the Diamondbacks there with a top 100 Vanderbilt commit.

I think Pearson is sliding due to signability...meaning he'll be on campus.

Lot of draft league performers in that round. Ronan Kopp, big JC lefty from AZ just went to the dodgers. He was a name that came up based on geography alone.
