I actually think LSU has a better chance at scoring more points if Lawson plays. The tempo will allow for more possessions. But if he's out I think UNC is going to slow it down and pound LSU to death with Hansbrough and Thompson.

It will probably be a blow out. People around here rarely take their purple and gold glasses off. In no way does LSU matchup well against UNC. There is not logical reason for anyone to pick LSU to win. So it's dumb to hear them talking about what LSU can do from and X's and O's stand point. The only reason for someone to pick LSU is because Illogical things happen in this tourny.

So UNC, a team that averages 90/game is only gonna score 80, in a overtime game???

I think LSU can score on UNC. They been known to be soft on defense in some games this year. We need to consistant scoring from Temple and Spencer. If Thorton and Mitchell score there points and we have other scoring from the supporting cast we will win. If we get 5 pts from the bench and just the scoring from Thorton and Mitchell we will get killed. I hope I am wrong, but UNC 82 LSU 70.

The only way LSU has a chance is if the refs call an honest game. I've seen Carolina play several times this year, including yesterday, and that big oaf Hansbrough gets away with several assaults every game.

Count the number of times LSU players get sent to the floor by him tomorrow without a whistle, then count the number of times LSU's forwards and centers get whistled just for being near Hansbrough when he shoots.

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll see Hansbrough with more than two fouls, so:
