At this point, I’m just thankful that I’m going to be able to go. Everything hinged on when power was restored which happened this afternoon. I was supposed to fly out of MSY tomorrow morning but that got canceled and looks like Wednesday might be too. m hoping to leave Thursday. Ida messed up my original plans but, at least I’ll be there!

A buddy and I are doing the following. For those that might want to meet-up at any point...lemme know!
Friday: Trademark Brewing in Long Beach (thanks to aztiger for setting this up).
Dinner in Santa Monica, then over to Jameson's Pub for the LSU Alumni event.
Saturday:
Driving to Pasadena early to grab some brunch, then bounce around and I guess wind-up at Barney's, unless Chicken gets off his feathered arse and organizes an Official TD Pre-Game Party.
Will be celebrating a 1-0 start to the season back in Old Town with the rest of you drunks!
Looking forward to meeting some of you.

I like this idea. Not the driving to pasadena part but the rest of it. I’m gonna be lazy and just pick whatever is safe, closest to barneys, RB and has a pool

Thanks brother. I'm supposed to be flying out of MSY tomorrow afternoon around 1215 on United, connecting through Denver. They are supposed to be resuming flights then. The other issue is getting to MSY from South BR. If flights get cancelled, they will reschedule me on Thursday. Ida really messed up my plans but at least I'm still getting to go.

I have a couple of tickets for the LSU Alumni Association tailgate at the UCLA game that I'm looking to get rid of. A couple of relatives now can't go because of dealing with the after affects of Hurricane Ida. The tickets I have available are: 1 over 21 ticket, 2 under 21 tickets.
