yes ...haven't tailgated in that lot this year yet, but it was $100 last year and you could roll an RV in there and be good to set up a full tailgate spot and be right on University Ave. about an eight of a mile walk down to around the stadium... it's a great spot

Sounds good...is the lot affiliated with the university or is it private, just curious at who i could call to find out what time it opens?

I had a damn number two years ago when I first used that lot for the FL-LSU game, but I don't have it any more

Yea, I just looked at the parking map from the UF website...damn they are stingy with the avialable parking...

I have been looking at that map as well as the interactive map on their site... i see the lot across from the library now. It is a great spot.

really is... there will be a lot of tailgaters over there... it is about two blocks down from their good bar - the Swamp - which is like our Chimes ...good game day atmosphere around that general area... you won't be disappointed if you can get in there... that's where we're headed to try first

two years ago we parked in Norman Field...might try that this time again. We'll be there midday friday.

well, if we can't get something locked down by Friday evening I think we'll get out there around 8:30-9 Saturday morning and try to at least be there waiting when the lot attendant shows up ..she got there around 10 most game days we were there in the past

I think we did...dont remember exactly. Looks like there is a parking garage there too.
Our plan is to be in Gainesville around 3-4pm Friday. I don't mind holding a spot there or vice versa for another group.

I will come back on here and post any info I get if I indeed get some. I have been asking around to find some private lots/big yards in the area that can be rented before hand...I have some feelers out and if anything interesting turns up I'll let you know on this thread.

i will be in gainesville by 5am on friday morning with our group and whole tailgate setup. we can exchange numbers as it gets closer and i can reserve as much space as possible for everyone. i did the same thing for auburn last weekend.

I will be there around that time as well, i know that we can't get a spot on campus until at least 5...we should team up though and get two spots in that lot!
