I actually like Alleva alot. He made a great hire in TJ. I don't think he puts up with the football bs much longer.

Was it him or the chancellor from Duke?
Posted on 2/5/10 at 1:26 am to BigTuna
BigTuna do you believe TJ will get the court turned around next year? It sucks no one wants to go to the games and the student body is not helping basketball out at all, its sad

Alleva was the ad at Duke. I'm pretty sure you're thinking of Sean O'Keefe, our old chancellor. He came from NASA.

There's people way more qualified than me on this subject, but yes I definitely think they'll be much better.

Big Nasty, How do you think "Lost" will end?
Posted on 2/5/10 at 1:39 am to bignasty69
Gonna turn on fast white boy power. 7.8+ 60m,26+ 200m,58+ 400m. Maybe TD sponsor me? Have to give up NIKE.

BN69, if you come back to the board, did you or do any of your former teammates find Coach Stud lazy?
I have a theory that Stud's weight has a lot to do with him not coaching with fire. It takes a lot of energy to run around screaming all the time, both for good plays and bad. Or maybe it is just the way he coaches. Just curious.
And thanks for all the info.

I have read a few more pages.......
I said it before and I'll say it again, the primary issue with the oline is lack of fundamentals. It is obvious that during individuals Stud is not focusing on anything.
As far as leadership, that is heresay. Not to take a jab at CA, but a former crab who is now on the outside looking in (friends with some players or not) does NOT have as clear a picture as led to believe.
CA, I believe you are unintentionally overstating your knowledge of some things. I say this so you will be more careful in what you share with some people on this board as it really is conjecture.......it can be destructive.
Bottom line, you do have some valuable insight, but that circle you were briefly part of will not let you in fully anymore.......it's just the nature of things. I know.
ETA: I know the attention you are getting here is intoxicating to a degree, but be careful what you share with them. As you have been identified, your friends may take issue with it.

Are you asking which of the coaches work out?
I heard Moffit was looking at himself in the mirror after doing some squats and he was dissapointed as he noticed how puny his guads were.
Corch Miles walked by and said, "hey, keep your head up kid, you'll be fine once Moffit gets a hold of you"

Mike Cauble has notified of this thread and is running by the coaches for their reactions today.

another ill-fated attempt at humor (with a slight jab at the coaching staff thrown in for good measure)......you are consistent.
