I really wanted to see him at QB and Trindon in the backfield for some plays

we tried that. it worked, so we had to stop.

yeah jordon does what he is asked of, unfortunately thats not good enough anymore, you have to do way more than that, i think he will improve next season with his experience but i don't see him being the next great lsu QB like that of Davey Mauck Russell and Flynn..... maybe it has to do with coaching?

hey bignasty, just wanna quickly thank you for all the info you passing along.

do you think the o-line will return back to its 2007 or even 2008 form next year? I see a lot of guys like Hurst, Blackwell, and others who could be dominant o-linemen. (i just don't know if they'll see the field cuz, like you said, Stud seems to have his favorites).

Also, who do you see being the starting tackles next year? Barksdale will obviously be one of the starters, but who do you see winning the other spot between Faulk and Shaw? Is there a chance Josh D moves to tackle?

There has been alot of talk that Crowton has come into situations at new schools with a veteran quarterback that can handle his system, but then in a couple of years when a new quarterback comes along he can't coach them up.
I haven't really made up my mind on this, but the numbers don't lie and every place that crowton has been the offensive output has decreased every year after his first

What was Shep like out there? I've heard he shredded the D and most hadn't seen anyone like him?

Hopefully we can emerge some in spring. O-Line Josh D tries to be it but some of the other o-lineman don't see eye to eye. Hurst is gonna be damn good! But i believe this years o-line should be improved from last year. I just think the guys last year Josh D and T-Bob were playing a year early while the other 3 just didn't have the intangibles

I did a write up about attrition across the board and one of the main conclusions I came to is that loss of olinemen really forced some guys into playing these past 2 years that shouldn't have been.

hey no problem i would do anything for my fellow tiger fans, as far as the tackle spot it goes like this.... Stud really likes Blackwell so there is a chance Josh D bumps to Tackle with Joe on the other side that leaves Blackwell and Hurst at guards or he could put shaw or faulk at tackle and let Josh and Hurst play the guards..... just depends on the progression of Faulk and Shaw neither were ready to play full time SEC ball last year, but thats what the year is for..... I say Faulk at tackle with Joe on the other side with Hurst and Josh D as the guards and PJ at center

bignasty69, thanks for all the information. It is greatly appreciated.

I honestly have way too many questions to ask

I'll start with probably the biggest one on my mind: What is the LB outlook? Outside of Minter looking like a solid prospect, how have the others panned out?

Ya know I thought Baker would of had a little bit better year last year, but for this coming up year we did lose a couple of players so its gotta be a spot for concern on the defense.... Baker will be solid, and Shepperd will be back, so we have to get WILL backer.... Prater can't play outside and i don't think Minter could either Taj Jones and Lamin Barrow aren't near ready.... So that leaves Steffon Francois and a player that surprised everyone at camp last year ROCKY DUPLESIS

BN69, Thanks for all the insight.

You spoke earlier of getting that mean streak back....is it the type of players recruited, or is the team taking on the head coaches persona.

Does Miles get fired up at practices? Is he a hard arse, or are things pretty relaxed?

Next to Les. And why project Pat? He's never done a project in his life. But Mitch is a good guy.

what's your opinion of reuben, why didn't he see the field more? why didn't he get more throws his way? are the rumors of his poor route running true?
