Offensive staff changes forth coming? Is this guy reliable or have inside sources? Doubt anybody is shocked with stud, o-line is inconsistent, he makes 500, 000K, bad perception with losing hootie & crob. He may be unhappy about getting demoted & CC may want his own guy. I think ensminger is a good coach, has been OC in 3 major conferences and has a lot of experience. Not a great recruiter but idk what else you would get out of a TE coach Hope Henry isn't being forced out, great recruiter & thought he made strides this year, maybe he wants back in the nfl. Guy also mentioned brick may be in trouble, doubt it though, he is a chavis disciple & has been good over the 5 years. Surprised Raymond & mcgaughey weren't on there.

Henry is not being forced out by any means. He's done a great job period. The fact is he might want to jump
Back into the pro game if the right offer and fit is there. That's the only reason he'd be leaving.

I've heard Rob is a great coach.

interesting...not sure he's quite ready to be LSU's o-line coach but I like how his career is unfolding. If he can recruit Monroe make him TE coach for a few years.

quote:

The 32 year old coach is a native of Monroe, played high school football at Neville High and college ball at LSU where he was a three year starter in the offensive line.

“I'm excited to be here and look forward to the opportunity,” the new Cowboy coach said. “My philosophy is to put forth a unit that will be tough, will play hard and be fundamentally sound.”

Sale, who earned his degree from LSU in 2003, has served on the Alabama football staff for the past five years, being a member of two national championship teams (2009 and 2011).

No shite. Offensive line and TE changes need to made. Plus kragthoroe needs to go. He's useless now. Nothing against him, he's just not needed.

Cam Cameron? Kragthoroe is just a paycheck not needed to be cashed. It's worked out so well having him on staff hasn't it.

Come on man. Look one post up. He's not on the staff

I'm actually amazed Ensminger lasted this long. Stud deserved the time to get it right and I hope he's moving up instead of lateral.

Cameron needs his own peeps in there.

Would people be happy if Wilkerson replaced Stud?

The thing about Big Ben is that, other than size, he wasn't particularly physically gifted - other than having the size to play center or guard - however, he came in and started 41 games at center, became only the third LSU player to win a national award (co-winner of the Rimington).

The thing that got me excited as a freshman is that reports came out that the offensive staff was overjoyed because you teach him something once - he does it correctly, every time after that. 10 bad snaps out of 991 as a junior - he also did a lot of the long snapping at LSU while he was the center here - a 2-time All American out of Hemphill, Texas.

So if he can translate what he did as a player in a coaching capacity, I'm 110% behind this.

You do realize the man has Parkinsons right? It's not like he could just go get another job anywhere else he wanted to. He's probably no longer going to be able to work much at all in the near future. Les and LSU are doing a good thing by helping him and his family by keeping him on during this extremely difficult time. I don't think they're just gonna cast the man aside like a piece of trash because he can't contribute to the program in the initial capacity he was hired for. frick you. What you're saying is cruel, insensitive, and downright fricking ignorant. I award you no points and my God have mercy on your soul.

I would wonder how much Cam had to do with the WR's development this year as opposed to AHenry's. All the video's I watched during the off season had Cam, of course, focusing on the QB's but he seemed to be getting in the receivers heads quite a bit as well...

It was Henry. But also the qb improved so a combination of both. We had troubles with dropped passes before henry. A year after he was hired, we dont. He was making wrs catch the ball behind the goal posts.

his is a good sign shows cam is committed to LSU and wants his own staff members future is bright

ehh i dont trust kleinpeter. Where is he getting this from? He wrote an article saying blue was going pro, but blue hiimslef didnt say that and actually listed reasons why he should stay.

I dont want to burst anyones bubble, but Jim doesnt know shite and i doubt there will be any changes unless, coaches move on to another gig, like Henry maybe going back to the pros.

Think this place would implode more if Cam left then they did when we hired him. LOL, he got fired from the ravens, LSU was his only job offer

Rob Sale? Ben Wilkerson? We're a top 5 program can we get somebody with skins on the wall and not go for inexperienced FCS position coaches. They might be good candidates in the future but not right now.

Loosing hootie and crob shows recruiting needs to be corrected in NLA

what about landing brand harris and dj chark or tre white? What about john diarse? jordan allen?

So these kids from north la liked our coaches but the other 2 didnt? They can go if they want, not everyone wants to live in LA the rest of their lives.

You do know without krags we dont get jennings or rettig right?

No comment on Kragthorpe's employment but the logic here is flawed along two lines:
1) Who's to say a given recruit would not have came had another coach been on staff? Or perhaps an even better recruit might have signed had a different asst been on staff. In most instances LSU is bigger than any single asst.
2) Should Les have retained Mallory because he had a role in Patrick Peterson's recruitment and Mo Claiborne's?

Because rettig himself said Krags kept in contact with him during his injury. That he would come to LSu as long as Krags was there. he was also in charge of recruiting jennings.

Lets not forget Rettig was the guy everyone was excited about, they saw jennings as miles short side option qb until people made it clear that this kid could also throw the ball.

So im saying yes, Our qb coach at the time had everything to do with these two signing with LSU. Or you can just go ahead and say it was all stud at oc that got these guys, but then that wouldnt follow the rants logic of him being a liability now would it?

And we retained kragthorpe because the NCAA allowed you to put someone on staff in charge of recruiting just last year. He is not a coach. he has an administrative job as a recruiter. Hes supposed to keep up with the rule changes and keep coaches in line, a long with the compliance office.

Ill give you peterson because mallory was the db coach during petersons recruitment, but Mo was a qb in high school and signed in 09. The coaches didnt decide to play him at db until he was on campus practicing after mallory was gone and chavis was the dc.
