I don't think schematically there needs to be household changes but there are a few (2-3) teams a year that you need to do different things to win and I believe that is what most people would like to see in improving the offense for next year. As I agree with some of this original post, I do believe to become elite, the current players at tackle need to play at a drastically higher level and need to sign elite OT's.

I just feel that this is self evident and I can't understand the uproar that it causes. The article Spotwood linked is sobering. I don't have all the answers but I'm as sure as I can be that LSU needs to get better at the tackle position.

The comment by T-bob sums it up, "philosophy"and I've said this countless times about O. He's more afraid of the turnover from being aggressive than the potential gain. Until he let's go of that this offense "will not" reach it's potential plain and simple. Of those plays that were shown, one was a horrible playcall,one was a busted assignment by deculus (that he did numerous times this year), Quinnen Williams whipped cushenberry's arse and the Florida play, Charles got his arse whipped (which Burrow would have escaped) had brossette not blown his assignment and blocked inside to out like he should have.

I don't think they are the same person. They are just both pretty similar, and equally stupid. There is one major difference.
Ben argues and argues every day in threads. He throws out his stupid arguments and gets crushed by facts. Once he gets crushed, he starts name calling.
P&G learned a while back that he would get crushed by making the arguments, so he just goes straight to the name calling now.

Missing blocking assignments late in the season had me questioning leadership big time plus the Sullivan interview was discouraging. I still think another year in the system and experience will be all the difference.

This is not a difference of opinion. This is a straight defamatory attack. The poster has no evidence whatsoever to back up his accusation but that doesn't stop him at all.
This poster has been flinging these accusations for quite some time now.
I responded with verbal attacks of my own.
To say that I was unprovoked is just plain dishonest.
It's funny that I don't roam around this board thread to thread making up scenarios attacking other posters. The posters that are here attacking me are well aware of of the comments by Grapevine. They misrepresent what has been said and outright lie about the circumstances.
I hope now that certain posters have had their dishonesty exposed that this can all be put to rest.

NFL/FBS: Defense Wins Championships: Fact or Folklore....Folklore
The high scoring 2018 season certainly falls outside of the "defense wins championship" boundaries both in the regular season and in the playoffs. The four teams heading into the AFC and NFC Championship games (Chiefs, Rams, Saints, Patriots) rank 1 through 4 in scoring offense. Only the Patriots rank in the top 10 in defense at No. 4. The Saints are at 14 while the Rams and Chiefs are at 20 and 24.
The mantra this season is more akin to "defense gets you into the playoffs but no farther." Among the teams ousted from the players so far, the Bears ranked first in defense, the Ravens second, Texans fifth, Cowboys sixth, Chargers eighth and Seahawks 11th while none of their offenses cracked the top 10 other than the Chargers (eighth). In the divisional round, in three of the four games, the winner scored more than 30 points, so that maybe the mantra needs to be adjusted to "offense matters a lot in the NFL."
The same is being proven in the FBS: It is better to have an Elite Off vs an Elite D: Saban said 'If given an either or, no doubt I would put my best players on Off and just Score As Many Pts as possible.' That is the way it is going.
All 4 of the Playoff Teams: Offensive Schemes
38-39 yrs old in the pic
Stabler and Joe Namath were the last of the carousin' quarterbacks. Stay out all night, then come in the next day and throw four touchdown passes.
He would come in with little or no sleep and say "It is only a 3 hr game." He died in 2015 at age 70 of colon cancer and CTE. He was devastated to see many of his football friends suffer early deaths from CTE: 110 of 111 brains studied post mortem had CTE.
