Considering how awful our run game has been, we don’t get behind the chains a ton solely because Nuss can get rid of the ball.

Run game looked better. Better play calls and called with RBs on the field. More power and misdirection. OL still fired off the ball high at times but they did have moments where they came off low and powerful and got some push.

They just need to call plays like they did the previous 3 years. Even though Nuss turned the ball over a ton last year. He also put points on the board. That to go along with this defense is a recipe to get into the playoffs. Kelly has gotten too conservative this year. I hate to say it, but i miss him going for it on 4th downs. At least he showed balls doing that. Now he's relying solely on the defense.

The entire needs to play aggressive and have that swagger. Play to demolish teams. Not to beat them by a field goal or a touchdown. He's coaching scared. The defense(as good as it is) needs the offense to open it up. When you plays teams that are more well rounded, the shite won't fly.

Yes. This was exponentially a better game. Ran the ball. Ran wildcat successfully once, and we ran from under center! Nuss scrambled THREE times. His throwing power power is back.

He made one bad read for a pick at the 1 and floated one pass a touch high for a pick rolling left. But he nailed a beautiful throw rolling to his right for a first and wasn't chucking ducks or prayers into triple coverage. His decision making was exceptional, his throw power was back, and he ran. We are so fricking back, baby!
