then pulled the Spread/RPO offense out from under him with Old School Sarkisian.

How would this affect Tua last season? Sarkisian hasn't even called a game for Bama yet. Mike Locksley was the OC for 2018.

So Sark will just instantly become a Spread/RPO OC? Just click it on like in a computer game?

Why didn't E just "click it" on?

He did. I heard our problems were talent last season.

Well E has never been as good a OC as Sark

But realistically starting something from scratch VS maintaining an playbook that’s already there is 2 different things.

Locksley wasn’t a genius but he could call plays out of that playbook.

Additionally, the program has a lot of the same analysts that were there last season.

I heard Saban say that he didn't hire analysts to give him some strategic advantage over his opponents. He said he does it because it helps to maintain continuity in scheme for a program with high assistant coach turnover.

I am a huge fan of Burrow but saying he’s a slightly better passer than Haskins feels like a stretch after Haskins smoked every OSU passing record last year and Burrow transfered.

If all else was equal Urban would have to be retarded not to name Burrow the QB outright.

Wow. I said basically the same thing about the Ohio State QB situation a few weeks back and you said my opinion was fricking stupid and I was an a-hole for thinking that way.

Welcome to the club Sammy.

Let me guess - if the passing game struggles it will be because of the lack of jugs reps, but if it’s prolific it will be in spite of the lack of jugs reps?

Post of the day so far and spot on.

hey buddy, he’s got a little something that’s never listed on any stat sheet. A little thing called GRIT.

I'll agree he does have grit.

All that grit didn't make him a top 5 quarterback last season though.

This entire off-season has been comedy gold, earl. Juvenile and immature as hell, but hilarious nonetheless.

I can't wait for game #1.

Burrow could have a great game, we could blow out GaSt and Buckeye can still come out looking really stupid if he only passes for 63% of his passes. Tua passed for 75% his first game and still fell short of that 70% mark.

Buckeye is potentially going to lose his shite in a couple of weeks because of a ridiculous limb he went out on.

I don't know Goldie, he seems to have hitched his wagon to the Texas game and the outcome will confirm Orgeron as a good coach or a bad one. I'm not sure how one OOC game can do that, but it seems to be the deciding factor for BJ.

He has gone out on a limb with his BS. But we all know if Burrow doesn't get the stats that Buckeye has predicted, he'll blame everything and anything under the sun except Burrow himself as to why he didn't hit those numbers.

Coaches, wide receivers, offensive line. Whatever it takes. That's what will happen in my opinion.

I asked him flat out about that last night and he turned it into me wanting to make a ban bet with him which I said wasn’t the case. I just wanted to know what he’d do, or a better way of saying it would be who would be to blame if his emphatic statement shouldn’t happen and he did what he does all the time, pivoted and maneuvered and danced around the question while he flung insults as if simply asking him about his declaration was a no no.

He never did answer it.

We all know what's going to happen. That won't make it any less entertaining to witness.

This is impossible to recover from. I like you, Buckeye Jeaux, but you’re done here after this.

Buckeye Second Cousin has backed out of so many ban bets, including one with me, that he should be known as Crawfish Jeaux.

There will be some sort of twisting, pivoting or complete ignoring here. Maybe an O-bashing tirade as well.
