I guess they mean band to fan interaction/chants 
not sure that would be considered a "tradition" but chants have been around well before you and I were born. I just copied the link as it stated "tradition matters"
I have heard of some old chants from my dads days that were pretty vulgar as well, if not worst.

I couldn't agree more. If any of these snot-nosed kids knew how the stadium felt in the early 2000s when we didn't have "Neck" or "Oh-We-Oh"... giving the students a chance hopefully will show them the team and coaches mean business, but it also gives them a chance to piss on it because they can... and sadly, most likely will.

that's a good thread to see the actual polarization of this board. The old classy guys hate STTDB while the young ones just try to justify saying anything they want to "be a part of something" regardless of how stupid they actually sound.

It was debuted either bama or ole miss in 2006. Definitely played at the Sugar Bowl that season too.

The "cock" was added to " you suck" when we played south carolina in 2007 and made sense. But some of our section took it to the following games

well, here goes.... I was a Tiger Band member 81-83, bleed purple and gold, went to high school with James Britt, member of the "soul patrol". I've followed the Tigers for 40 plus years. I have close ties with A&M and I hate to admit, they have the most classy, loyal fans I've seen. They respect the campus and tradition. There are times recently when certain Tiger fans don't make the University look like the "Flagship"....I'm no prude, at all, just an observation. Go ahead, take your shots......
