October 6, 2012 LSU loses slugfest in Swamp to Fla. October 13, 2012 LSU beats #3 S Car.

In 2012 LSU was ground down in the heat of the Swamp and the defense uncharacteristically couldn't stop the run in the 2nd half. In a similar fashion LSU's defense wore down in the heat of the Swamp yesterday.
LSU was down and Clowney and #3 South Carolina were going to put LSU out of their misery the next week. LSU beat South Carolina in one of the most intense, loudest, exciting, and FORGOTTEN games in Tiger Stadium history.
LSU might surprise some people next week.

I was there and remember the game very well. That said, Carolina was the biggest overrated #3 team in history, whereas Georgia has proved their ranking.

I brought up that game last night. UGA is obviously better than that Carolina team but I remember being sure that we wouldn’t be able to block their DEs.

If Georgia is not ready, then we could pull this one out. Georgia is not on the Alabama level. I think we're a mediocre team with top 5 talent and we have people coming back from injury hopefully. So I think we have the ability to pull this off.
