Obvious answer to all organized student vulgarity

How long before LSU does away with the student section? This is where all the obscenities start. They're sitting in a pretty valuable location, and it's usually the first section to empty. No student section would mean the STTDBs would be scattered at best.

Great idea. Get rid of a STUDENT section at a university built primarily for the academic success of students. Football is an extra curricular activity for them more than it here for us.
I'd be in favor of it for 1 game (ETA: a useless game like Rice or what ever rent-a-win we play next year) to send a message (given that you're against the vulgarity. Not saying I am), but getting rid of it totally is asinine.

How about I'm a TAF donor and a season ticket holder in 3 sports and don't want to have to listen to a chant about fellating a tiger?

My God, this is what's wrong with America. It starts with a couple of people with kids complaining. Then administration throws fuel on the fire by addressing it. Now you want to remove the whole student section. Catastrophe syndrome at its finest. Here is an idea, how about we don't freak out and do anything stupid and just let it just subside with the passing of time.

Not since the 90s man. LSU FB is a business that massively affects the Louisiana economy. Its not just a school function anymore. If the students chants begin to hurt business, dont think LSU wouldnt limit their ability to continue to do that.
That being said, I dont think a dumb chant will ever affect the bottom line.

The only real thing I can think is play more owe-o and bring back tigerrag and hope that “you suck” and “a-hole” suffices

I didn't say I liked the idea. But don't you think somebody at LSU looks at those seats and sees a bunch of TAF dollars instead of drunk students and thinks about it. And they could do it under the guise of cleaning up the language.

We can barely fill the stadium even for big games as it is
