I moved to Tallahassee two years ago. Was invited to the FSU-Florida game last night. Was blown away by the energy of the fans. Lots of different cheers going on the whole game(not the stupid chopahawk which I hate). I wish the younger generation could take over the Box and do something similar. It’s time for old leather lungs and K lady to move aside.

We are fortunate LSU redefined a college baseball atmosphere in the early 90s.

A&M and FSU have never moved on from the 80s. That was back when you had to be a little different to follow college baseball.

Yup the elephant in the room is that the grand stand is full of low energy blue hairs and company seats.. it’s going the way of the PMAC. Woody needs to redistribute those tickets to students and will call to pump some energy back in.

We kind of don’t do anything except “geauxt - tigers and LSU LSU LSU”

That’s my point.

It’s FSU-Florida, of course they’re going to be hyped up. I’m just willing to bet that’s not a typical crowd for a midweek game in Tallahassee

So do you think we should do the cheers the softball team does in the dugout during games. Do all that in the baseball stands.

Bring props like a phone and mask maybe a banana and talk to it like it's a phone.

Just getting a little more context.

Yeah, my trip to Dudy Noble a few weeks ago was very eye opening. I know they're the pinnacle college baseball experience right now and it's unfair to compare to them. But still. It was almost like being at a different sport. You could tell our team was rattled by it too.

LSU Fans: We want a Championship Program. We expect Omaha almost every year.

LSU Fans: Let’s get rid of the boosters who pay for the LSU baseball program, who provide the funds for NIL, and let’s move them out and give their seats to poor students and fans who can only afford to buy tickets for a few games a year and can’t afford donations to the program.

A really good FSU hosting their hated rival who is ranked high. They play three times a year and FSU was trying to sweep the season series. They're hot right now.

OFC they show up. LSU fans get pissy when we aren't doing well as we think we should and stop showing up to games.

I mean yea that’s the point. Midweek games don’t matter anywhere, unless it’s your all-time most hated rival

Glad the OP got to experience that, sounds fun. But it’s an extreme example. If we can get confirmation that FSU’s stadium is just as hyped against Pitt or Boston College then they may have something

They never win Jack but it's fun in the stands. Compared to LSU 7 national titles and I guess this guy wants to dance the whole game instead of watch and cheer.

Yeah let's do this so we can have fun in the stands and lose.

I went to an Auburn-FSU game in the late 80’s. Sat in the fsu section. When those drums kick in and the band plays the war chant, it’s pretty bad arse.

Skip Bertman tore down an old stadium with an electric atmosphere and built another old stadium, with new bricks, and zero atmosphere. The new Alex Box has been like this since day 1. Tbh, I don't know that it can be fixed as is without major renovations.
