Observation #1: Jarett Lee is NOT the answer.

I know many of you keep calling for Lee and wondering why he's not in there more or starting over JJ. But take a close look athis play at Auburn and you'll see why. Plain and simple: he's scared of getting hit. He gets happy feet as soon as he gets a rush. He doesn't set his feet and throw. Both of which can easily result in INTs. Also, once he feels any rush at all, he crumbles into the fetal position and goes to the ground.
Did anyone notice on the final fourth down - sure the play broke down and Tolliver whiffed a block atthe end, but after he scrambled and was running left, Lee had a shot at a first down and just sort of fell away from the defender and lost a yard. If he puts his head down, accelrates and stretches, he might just get the first down.
Bottom line, he gets scared, gets happy feet, doesn't set to throw, and is a huge INT risk.
He's not the answer.
So I think we will continue to see the coaching staff try to manage risj=k as best they can - using both QBs and trying to avoid either making crucial mistakes that kill us.
I do not ever expect Lee to start as they simply cannot trust him to bow up and make plays when it counts.

JJ is not the answer either.
We need to sign 4 QBs and 8 OL this year and most importantly, fire the entire offensive staff and start completely over.

Anyone who thought he was the answer is just a fool. But he is a better passer than JJ.
The real answer is LSU doesn't have one QB.

we know they weren't the answer this year but we thought JL was the answer to beat Auburn thats all we needed

You fail fricking miserably with this. Anything worthwhile you mention was nullified after this. He's thrown what, 2 pics this year?
Compare that to JJ.
This isn't '08 anymore. JJ is now the one giving points to the other team. I told the people I was sitting with that we would lose by one score after JJ threw that pic and Auburn scored a TD off it.

he was 4 yds. short dude!!! Ingram would not have picked up those yds! He's not the answer, but he should start. I guarantee you he would not spot the other team 7 points early as JJ has done in 4 games now

Of course JL is not the answer. However, he was the best option. Was he playing that bad before he hurt his wrist? At halftime they reported he had a sprained wrist..yet he went back in throwing. We have to hope that Mett can come in and save us, or let Ware throw the ball.

Least worse. Hurt wrist on touch/passing qb. Your opinion

+1
one note, he seems to throw a very nice ball about 15 yards to his right (sideline)..have not seen him go to the right at all in the last few games ???

Lee is a good QB as long as he is not rushed and he can make his throw on time. If not, he is still he same old Lee. We don't have a QB on this team worth a damn.

i dont disagree he gets happy feet but on the 4th down play, it was pose to be a slant by tolliver and the oline all chopped blocked to creat a passing lane. but two problems: 1) tolliver slant was so God damn predictable for the CB b/c he was on the sidelines and the only rout he was going to run could have been a slant (which was taking away by the CB which is why he just ran aimlously after the rout was taken away.) 2.) the play was pose to be a quick release by lee (hince the chop block)...it wasnt there, therefore he knows the D-line will be killing him soon b/c chop blocking destroys any pocket.... there fore the result: a fricked up play that was a hgorrible predictable and just plaine shitty... i have no idea what else to say except i really dont like miles and crowton.
i just dont know what the answer is... i dont think we need to get rid of miles i just think he should have gotten a new offensive coordinator last yr and let the him have sole control of the offense.

Bottom line is Lee is not all that good, but Jefferson is absolutely terrible.

the HC determines the freedom / lack thereof of the OC.

How would we know? Everytime he was in the game they were throwing bubble screens or he was getting mauled by Fairley. JL actually played a damn good game, and if you're going to jump on this (like many of us predicted JJ supporters would) then you're just a moron. If Lee played 100% of the snaps this season, including the beginning of this game, we would have won. It's as simple as that.

JL was not the answer against Aub for one simple reason - Predictability.
JL took 19 snaps - threw 14 passes. When he comes in, all the Aub D had to do was pin their ears back and rush like hell. No wonder we could not block them under those circumstances.
If JL were given the proper chance, coming in the game when we are not in a bind, the results would be much different.
This is bad coaching decisions - pure and simple.

I'll tell you this, Lee makes that throw on the first drive. That was way overthrown and JJ had all day and a wide open reciever. I told my girlfriend we would be down 14-3 or 10-3 if JJ played the first two series, and you can bank on it being the same when we play Bama.

This is rediculous. JL is the reason we aren't a 3 loss team right now. For you to say that its his fault we lost after JJ spotted the other team two drives and 10 points, again, wow.
