Soo... Now you're claiming the defense is comparable to other teams ... AND the offense isn't talented.. yeah you're just grasping for an argument.

Yes. You've made it very clear in this thread that you see ONLY what you want to see

You have a third grade reading comprehension level and one of the absolute worst posters on the board. At no point in any of your incoherent posts could anyone mistake anything that you say as objective and you sit here pointing fingers. This shite is hilarious.

Here's where y'all lose me every time. The injuries or suspensions excuse. Every single year we lose guys to injuries or whatever. Every year. That's not a good excuse because it will happen again next year. We need a better scheme, an identifiable offense, and someone who can teach a QB. Ensminger just isn't the guy to do those things. If you really think about the important wins we've had, then you'll realize we won in spite of the offense not because of it. We put up 2 goose eggs against Bama. And our best win this year against Georgia should have been over much earlier but we can't score in the red zone. We're not going to see a significant improvement unless we modernize the offense.

considering that LSU lost 3 starting OL to graduation/early departure, 1 starter to suspension, and the remaining returning starter was hurt and inneffective most of year. In addition, they lost their #1 TE before the season, had zero productivity returning in scoring, with wrs that saw its most talented players as TF, and rbs that scared no one, a QB that has never started and had been on campus a short time, a new OL coach, and a new OC. On top of that no stability in the OL with lots of injuries.

This happens every year to almost every team. Last year it was injures to the Dline and starting a transfer from Purdue and freshman starting on the Oline. Find a different excuse every year.

e. It's funny, instead of looking at this as a positive, you are truly pissed off that someone is taking a positive perspective on this team. It's almost like you are a fan of another team. Anything to shite on lsu right

Anything and I mean anything to shite all over the coaches and the team. I don't know what team they are fans of but they aren't LSU fans.

This one is very good and correct.

True, but it generally doesn't combine with ZERO returning production and new starters at all skill positions.

For those of you still claiming cherrypicked. I recalculated all 8 sec games for sec West teams, excluding overtime points.

Result:

1. Alabama
2. LSU
3. Texas a&m
4. Auburn
5. Ole Miss
6. State
7. Arky

It cannot be debated that LSU played the toughest sec schedule of this group.

How's that for cherrypicked lunchbox?

Bottom line is lsu didn't perform as bad as many think in the sec. EOD.

Les was better than 0. Undebatable fact. He also should have been fired.

Those are not mutually exclusive statements.

Tillmanscorner, thanks for the effort to show more objectively, how we performed in reality, than by using emotion.

Some will argue ANYTHING to fit their agenda.

10th in yards, 8th in points. It was bad.

That should shut them up for about five seconds. They'll shite all over this too.

No one would "shite" on the team if trolls didn't come in here trying to spin the numbers.

I thought all along that the offense would be shite and the defense was going to be elite, but neither of those things happened. I was livid when we hired coach E, but if I'm being honest, the offense actually exceeded what I thought they were capable of and the defense was good not great.

That's why I don't care for Greedy's comments, I just didn't feel that the defense was at an elite level this year. I honestly think both sides of the ball need to improve in order to compete with Bama, because it felt like Bama could put a foot on the gas and score when they wanted.

Greedy's comments seem like, the defense played amazing and still lost. Yet we were not a top 10 defense this year and we rank in the top 50 in time of possession.

Do you remove the OT’s for every team or least put a stop after a couple OTs? In fact I don’t believe that any other team had an OT game in the West.

Nice try Derek.

Admittedly, I thought we would be at the bottom, if not last in most offensive categories.

Thing is I also thought we had a top 5 type defense and I just didn't see that this year. IMO, you just don't hear championship teams blaming the other side of the ball very often.
