So may still be a while

“We love Michael being back on our team. Brings a lot of energy. He's still unable to play.”

If this has to do with the compliance office and not the NCAA, we should have those guys run out of town with pitchforks!

If the school has a rule in place then the NCAA mandates that you have to follow that rule. The compliance department’s job is to make sure the athletic program is complying with the rules in place.

Be mad at the rule not the people enforcing it.

I think we'll be lucky to see him before the end of the season

Did people actually think he would be able to play?

So a 10 game suspension?

That doesn’t make sense. Unless our compliance department has a rule we don’t know about.

I agree. Part of me thinks having MD back with the team is more of a leadership thing more than anything. If he's able to play in any of the remaining games that's just a bonus.

I know many of you think "why would he go practice if he can't play" but maybe we underestimate how much he cares for his brothers and wants to help/see them succeed.

He was already serving a 6 game suspension before he left the team. Had sat out 3 games so far (Georgia St, Northwestern St, and Utah St) which means he had to sit out another 3 games.

Now it's been widely reported that he wouldn't be eligible to come back until the national title game if we made it that far, which suggests to me something happened beyond that initial 6 game suspension, and maybe those 6 games turned into 9 games.
