I'm well aware of that, you continue to move the goal posts, I'm drawing parallels here, you're either willfully ignorant or just.... O is going to be here sext season.

OLOL was under Miles

The USA Today story had so many holes in it; every player but Guice was disciplined and all that’s been proven O knew was that DG had sex with another player’s girlfriend

Whoa buddy. I don’t think you read too well.

Wade was investigated for paying players.

O is being investigated for covering up players committing sex crimes and assault on women.

Two completely different things. I’ve never seen a hc survive “that kind of scandal”. If you know one let me know.

Again from where are you getting this? Even the USA Today hit piece didn’t show that O knew anything other than Guice had slept with a teammate’s girl.

It seems like if anyone covered anything up it was the tennis coach and Ausberry.

O is not getting fired for cause. All these players are gone, a lot of the key admins are gone. All players were suspended or kicked off team, other than Guice. This situation is nothing compared to what Baylor was proposed to be. That case has now crumbled, with 2 of the accusations sticking, and actually may only be 1. 1 is bad enough. That being said, it is now becoming clearer and clearer that Baylor really had very little ground to fire Briles. If O does get fired, it is because someone at LSU is stoking the fire, and they are looking to get rid of him. Which with all the PR missteps he has had, could be the case.

Regardless he put that group together, Covid, SJW, losing 35 players are all reasons he gets another year unless other things prevent that

And another failed coordinator hire, completely losing this team, title 9, are the reasons he very well may be fired.

I don’t understand how any fan can “get their hopes up” about firing O. I dislike him as much as the most ardent haters but the last thing I want as a fan is having him fired a year removed from one of the greatest college football seasons and teams ever assembled.

I think he’s a mumble mouth meathead but if he gets fired now, regardless if it’s off the field stuff, we’ll look terrible in the national college football world and some will try to stain our championship because of it.

We should all HOPE he doesn’t get fired for any reason and if he continues to lay $hit burgers next year fine, chiznick him like he probably deserves but please don’t any fan “get your hopes up” that he’s fire now. It will look bad on our school and NOBODY should want that,

Cheers... I’ll sip my Jack and eat some popcorn while reading more nonsense.

These retards thought he was going to get fired for the bad season. Now they are latching onto Title IX and extracurricular reasons for him to be fired. Sorry, you guys lost credibility when you thought he’d be fired for on the field performance one year removed from the championship.

I don't think any rational person expected him to be fired for this season. People expected a drop-off after last season but no one expected this kind of performance, week after week.

But you honestly can't say that winning a natty last season to the current condition of the football program isn't concerning. It is. Especially in a few months amount of time. Seems like every week there's some new issue.

If he had any knowledge of this Title IX business, that's a bad look on not only the HC, but the university as well. Something will have to happen.

When the HC loses his own players, the locker room, the program in general has not even gone into a tailspin, it's turned into a major nosedive. There are major things hovering around the program and it's concerning.

It all goes to the HC. He gets the glory for last season but he also gets deserved criticism for this terrible season. He's the HC. He's even said it himself, "put this on me. Gotta get it fixed."

I'm not calling for the guy to get canned but the current state of the football program is troubling, to say the least. But he needs to make major changes, and very soon. Those wheels should already be in motion.

If you choose to disagree, that's all you but anyone can see that there's a major disconnect between himself and the current players. Players are bailing at a record pace before the season is even finished. I'm also concerned about recruiting.

You honestly can't say everything is hunky dory in the football program.

And that's it in the simplest terms possible. As much as he deserves being fired, he won't be, at least for a little while.

I would agree with you if it was just the record and poor performance in a hangover year but he has completely imploded on and off the field. Need to let him go just to slow down the bleeding or we just lose more players and recruits.

Maybe Urban will want to coach again in 3 years and our program can still be saved and isn’t completely wedged in the depths of hell at that point

The reasons for the potential dismissal would make replacing him with Urban Meyer virtually impossible.

He’s not getting fired. Only idiots believe that. We’re stuck for at least two more seasons after this one
