Absolutely! Coach O promises to raise them like his own and prepare the young man for success in life. A drug problem is far bigger than football

And there you have it folks.

Remove the fricking compliance department rules ASAP!!

Now we can assume Justin Thomas took the same route as well.

Rest Assured, Bo is about as good as it gets. Why post such negative comments about a true professional. I have known him since my son played there when they won the national championship and Bo is first class!

So you're cool with a young man ruining his life while we look the other way if it helps your team win? You're a loser

Because some turds think they are above the law and following the rules so they have to blame everyone else when they get popped. Blame everyone else instead of looking in the mirror.

So good that Saban had him moved to the ticket office during his tenure?

Smoking weed has been a misdemeanor in Louisiana for decades.

Actually enforced less than a 19 year old in possession of alcohol.

If a guy is going to rehab, it's not for marijuana....sorry prohibitionists.

Ditto underaged drinking. I'm sure you're outraged about that as well.

What? 18-21 year olds are drinking alcohol????? This kind of problem starts in the home....such disrespect for the law.

What gets me is that people fall for the weed thing. shite, this time they (LSU Compliance) have not even said anything about this and we are thinking.......oooooooooh it's weed.

Weed gives you an "athletic advantage" now?

Of course. It is a drug that reduces pain and stays in your body for a long time. A player that feels less pain will perform better than one that feels hurt. That is why Burrow took injections for the game last year. The drugs mask issues and reduces pain. A person using weed will feel less pain and soreness than the player that does not use it. That is an advantage.

You think they wouldn’t get in trouble if they got an MIP?

Apples and oranges. That is a cop related thing.
That would be like getting busted by the cop for marijuana.

Much different than testing by the institution. Would only be apples to apples if LSU is giving breathalyzers every Sunday morning.

So now you want players ineligible for Prednisone shots too? Since it is an advantage and all.

What part of smoking weed do you morons not understand that IT’S ILLEGAL

I have always wondered about the schools located in states where pot is legal. Does their policy allow pot smoking?

Incorrect. Lots go for weed. It may not be the same physical addiction of heroin or booze but people go for weed all the time

Interesting to call someone an idiot when heroin is not a plant, it is derived from a plant.
