Not after treating people the way he has this season, not after talking out of both sides of his mouf, and especially not after his piss-poor handling of the Canada situation.
He got a nice slice of humble pie and deserves all of the heat he is getting.

He's laughing all the way to the bank and finding his next scapegoat.

No offense, but what exactly does he coach on gameday? He's not calling plays on defense. He sure as hell doesn't know what to do on the offensive side of the ball. He's not even really dictating the overall approach in certain situations. shite, he generally just stands there with his mouthpiece up the entire game evidently just listing to what's going on. At best, he's helping Jenkins coach the DL. But that's about it. Basically he makes the decisions as to go for it (on 4th down) or not.
The problem is he knows that's all he really does and he wants to do more in order to justify his position as HC. Obviously none of us were there, but I suspect the Canada rift came about when O demanded changes after the Miss. St. game and Canada basically thought and maybe said "what the frick do you know about offense?"
That's the problem when you essentially hire a figurehead as an HC and they don't want to just be a figure-head. O wants to be like Jimmy Johnson or Pete Carroll. But the difference is that both guys had been coordinators and head coaches before they had huge success at Miami and USC. The assistants respected their input because both guys had, at minimum, been play callers. O hasn't, so his input is really only from a third party perspective (except with regards to the DL).
As silly as it sounds if he wants to have success at LSU he needs to recruit, be the figurehead, set the overall tone/direction of the program but stay out of the x's and o's side of the equation. It's a tough spot to be in because as HC he takes the ultimate blame for the coordinators short comings. If the offense looks bad O takes the heat, even if he had absolutely nothing to do with the personnel or playcalling. But that's what he and LSU signed up for.
