If he’s ahead of Bryce Young and CJ Stroud, he’s a sure fire top draft pick.

what we saw from Nuss in the 2nd half against UGA was more impressive than anything Daniels had done all season

You mean the 2 turnovers and lower completion % than JD while playing against UGA backups for much of the 2nd half?

Ya, that's impressive.

He played against their first string the entire half up until there were 3 minutes left in the game. Did you even watch it? I want a more aggressive QB who will actually throw the ball down the field. What does it matter if JD has a high completion percentage if he’s never actually throwing the ball down the field?

Wrong multiple times. You are the exact reason all other fanbases think LSU fans are retards.

Maybe. We’ll find out in April, if he declares.

Please tell me where I was wrong. Other fan bases probably think LSU fans are retards because we have guys like you who want to waste all of our WR talent on Jayden Daniels

It has to be someone other than JD, or our qb room is screwed and our WR room is going to be pissed.

The real reason they would be pissed is from all the tackling they will have to do after Nuss throws int after int since he is so prone to turnovers.

Get ready because all spring and summer he’ll be Mr. Heisman and we’ll be playoff bound on the Rant. Then the season will start and it’ll be back to “muh we just don’t have enough talent, it’s the Oline’s fault, the WRs don’t get separation, It’s a 3 year rebuild”

Most people can live with 1NT a game if it means 4TD’s and 300 yards passing. We will never win the SEC or a natty with a conservative QB like Daniels

It’s too many wasted plays. You can’t be 10th in yards per pass in the SEC and 24th in yards per attempt when you’re carrying the ball 100 times more than any of our backs. You can’t be 126th nationally in sacks taken, that’s not anywhere close to good enough in the SEC

The fan base isnt smart enough to understand that.

Nuss should probably head to greener pastures. Walker Howard as well. BK wants malik zaire running around back there.

The amount of empty downs this year was astounding.

Except Nuss doesn't average 1 int per game. He averages 1 per 25 passes. Unless you only want Nuss to throw 25 times. But then he wouldn't be getting the 400 yards you speak of. And he also doesn't average 4 TDs a game he averages the same amount as ints. Over the course of 2 seasons now, he has thrown the same amount of picks as TDs which is pretty bad considering he has played the majority of time against shite.

You won't go anywhere with a QB that has a 50/50 TD to INT ratio

Is Nuss not allowed to improve or grow as a QB? The biggest leap a guy makes at QB is from year 1 to year 2 as a starter and Nuss has already shown that he’s improved significantly since the Southern game. On the other hand, JD has hit his ceiling and has already started 40+ games - he is what he is at this point

No he hasn't he has shown he's still a turnover machine. And it's not like he just showed up. This was his second season. He has shown he can throw, and has also shown he doesn't value ball security much.

That should be something he knew long before he committed to LSU.

Chandler Morris will be the starter. He beat out Duggan in preseason before getting hurt.

He’s in the same class as Nuss. That would not be a smart move.

You mean a QB battle that was actually won on the field before the season started instead of predetermined?

He has still barely played. He threw 1 int with 2 TDs in a game LSU was trailing a ton and had to air it out.

I would still much rather a QB with a great arm who throws more TDs than one who barely throws any. I feel like the strength of the team is better this way, but that's just me. DeShaun Watson threw around 40 TDs with almost 20 INTs his final season. I'll happily take that over a QB who throws 16 TDs and 3 INTs.

Not all INTs are the worst thing either. Too many 3 and outs are. Some INTs as a result of deep shots are punts. I don't care about those turnovers if we are getting 4-5 receiving TDs a game.

With all that said, Walker is still my preference.
