Nuss would make our offense more UNPREDICTABLE!!!!

Under JD5 our running backs will suffer without a deep threat. Nuss coming in will take men out the box making us more unpredictable.

The RBs aren’t good, regardless of who the QB is. Pair that with soft as charmin Miles Frazier, and you have no run game

Yet another QB thread.

Nuss quick release is just as lethal as JD5 legs.

Chill with the Nuss. Jesus Christ. "play Lee", "play lee". "put in harris". "why is he not playing Jefferson?". Y'all always want to play the next guy. Calm the frick down.

Wouldn’t this support the “play Nuss” argument?

The Lee thing is interesting because, yes, I would’ve probably tried him in the natty just to maybe get a spark because you were dead in the water, but let’s be honest that Lee was absolute dog shite against Bama in his career, including during the GOTC. I’m all likelihood, he wouldn’t have had much more success playing from behind against a Bama pass rush that rattled him earlier that year into throwing multiple picks.

lsu has a 225 lb. freshman rb who runs a 10.61 100 meters and had a 14.9 yards per carry average as a senior year in high school

No. Not you with the “the better player is on the bench” take.
Start Rickie Collins!!!

why use the most talented players in their best positions on the field?
by all means don't do this

He would make it unpredictable...we never know when the interception is going to be.
Posted on 9/6/23 at 7:06 am to Hahnville07
no he wouldn't. Ask any DC if they would rather prepare for a qb like JD or Nuss and they will say Nuss.

So JD5 could get better but Nuss can’t smh

Total BS

Not only can Nuss not run the ball but he already has 4 int and clams up in the pocket. Ya'll beating a dead horse over this. Having Nuss in the game would have made zero difference. JD did well, we were having good momentum but our WR dropped too many. Bad pass or not, they still need to be able to catch. FSU had bad passes and still had to bend low to catch.

Nuss completes the pass to Brian Thomas Junior at the end of the first half for an easy touchdown. JD5 played at his ceiling Saturday. The blueprint on how to stop him as out. He will struggle against Moo State because his game has not evolved over five years

I am going to start by saying have no issues with Nuss playing and the offense very well may be better. There also may be more turnovers as Daniels has shown he prefers to take a sack over throwing a questionable ball that may be intercepted. I think both are bad plays it’s just bad in a different way.
With that said, if the defense doesn’t figure out how to not let a team score on their last 6 possessions (5 being TD’s) and the entire right side of the o line can’t figure out how to run block at all it doesn’t matter who the QB is.
