BK said the rotation will be limited and that the offense needs to get into a rhythm of a game.
This was obvious the first game, and probably would have been obvious in camp. But of course BK waits to lose a game to react - never proactive.

This report has me wondering if his sudden commitment to VR is more about rehabilitating Nuss' image than improving his game. If NFL teams sense a lack of work ethic, it could cost him a whole bunch of money.

Anything short of the intensity of 2019 Prep by Joe Burrow is unacceptable.
This is especially true for a fifth year QB who is essentially taking graduate level classes. His primary job for which he is being paid is to be the best prepared and trained QB.
All QBs may not achieve the same results as did Burrow and Jayden, but the commitment to that high level of Prep should be a baseline for the entire QB room. A young QB [once on campus] should have a master plan of course work for each individual year to accommodate the extra time required when finally being handed the "keys" for the team.
Oh, and Engagement? I hope any future wife of a would-be NFL QB [whether a starter or backup] should watch the Netflix Series on QBs to see the amount of commitment the wives have to put in to help their husbands learn all of the details and nuances of the playbook, etc. By no means are those wives merely "interested onlookers". Doing so would help them curb expectations and demands while the aspiring Pro continues to do his best on the present stage in order to get there . . .

This is unreal to me.
What about no LSU receiver since 2019 committing to the summer of 10,000 catches… or no team doing the 2011 preseason conditioning

if he hadn’t been using the VR until just now, after watching what it did for Jayden, that’s completely inexcusable imo
For a 5th year Senior to not dive into it 100% after having seen firsthand how JD5 improved both the team and his draft stock…. It’s just wild. That’s his only job now.

Sounds like he thought he was too good to be playing around with the VR system

Ruffino is definitely full of himself just like Moscona.

I don't get it at all. That is a system that should be utilized by the players with the coaches, not just the players. Why hasn't our OC/QB coach demanded that they spend a certain amount of hourse together in the VR system,
That system us what made JD a multimillionaire. Yes, he is the best scrambler ever, but if he couldn't find and hit receivers in stride, he would be doing something else today. Before that system, he was a very average to poor passer. We all saw it, he waited too long, waited for the receiver to be wide open before releasing the ball,,,,and we all should know that successful passing game at this level and above , is 'throwing receivers open' and throwing where they will be, not where they are. JD learned that and is a starting NFL QB. He wasn't that when he arrived at LSU his first year, and we all saw it.
I don't understand why the VR isn't being used not only by our QB's daily, but also by our play designers and play callers....with the QB,
That's on BK if not happening.

BK had it tied up in Golf mode working on that game.

So how does he know if Nuss is just starting to use the VR?
He doesn't. But that won't stop a portion of tRant from taking Ruffino as gospel to fit whatever they want to believe.
Buddy and Scarborough both said the same thing. All three of them are allowed in for practices and for press conferences with BK and players. I’m sure they have additional sources for something as simple as Nuss rarely using the VR. Pretty sure all three of them didn’t get together at the same time to put out a VR mental reps narrative on Nuss for shits and giggles. It’s OK to point out that Nuss didn’t put in the extra work like Burrow or Daniels did in the off season.
