ETA: Me personally, during the spring I thought he wasn't going to transfer. He knows he's about 99% assured to start next year unless some crazy name hits the portal.

You don't know that for a fact.
Howard has a better chance of starting next season at Ole Miss than at LSU.
Its was a business decision.
IMO he made the right decision. Ole Miss should never beat LSU as long as NIL and Kelly are in charge.

Probably said it cause of the assholes on here saying he was a quitter cause he sat out that meaningless bowl game for another year of eligibility. Read where some front office guy said it was a great move so he can develop. Said he would love to see more of this instead of the instant gratification complex where kids transfer now at the drop of a hat. Like WAIT HE BEAT ME OUT? WELL BYE!!! This kid seems special, EXTREMELY COACHABLE, an awesome teammate, and I bet everyone in the league offices heard about it and you don’t think that stands out. Come on he was here before Jayden and had to hear about how Howard was gonna be our savior and he was gonna transfer? Kids done everything right and I hope he gets ready this year cause like most (Burrow, Daniels, etc.) he’s gonna get his 2 years ‘24 and ‘25 to show he’s ready for even the next step. Well I’m rooting for him and already circled a special date on the calendar (well month cause the actual date has yet to be scheduled) October 2024. Why you ask? We play Ole Piss in Tiger Stadium so imma let you guys do the math and figure out if the stars align could be a GREAT ONE!!!!!! Yes Kelly and Nuss VS Lane and Howard. Better be a night game with little cold front passing through. Good times baws, good times. Peace ??
