He very clearly gets his right ankle rolled on that first big hit. They taped it up and he went out and played the rest of the game on a bum ankle. Nothing to do with his knee...

Don't screw up those professional diagnostic technicians. They have ESP in regards to human frailties.
No need for Xray s nor CT Scans. They Know!

I think I'll take Will Campbell's word for it.

Not an "injury", no.
Patella tendinitis. He's had it for years. Never have I seen him come to the LOS to start a game without jumping and bending his knees like he's stretching them out.

That said, I don't think that has anything to do with him limping every time he gets hit. If it is related, he's gonna be in pain every day when he gets a little older. But I don't think it's related.

You know who else did this? Jim Brown. He said he always got up slow so that no one would know if their hit actually hurt him. Nuss is just taking a page from all-time great Jim Brown’s playbook.

Man.. just take a second, step back, and look at how low people will go to shite on LSU and its players. It’s absolutely mind blowing sometimes

How did we get to this point?

not shitting on Nuss, just pointing out the misused and overdramatic reference, Bud Day was a warrior, not some pampered college aged millionaire getting paid to impersonate a qb

With patellar tendinitis, he’ll be in pain every day, unless and until he gets proper physical therapy.
You can play through the pain if you get injections or something, but it has to affect your play. At least, that’s what I would think.
I never had it or knew anyone who played football that had it to my knowledge. But, I do know a soccer player who has it and has been unable to play for a few months while doing physical therapy.

playing injured is selfish and will ultimately hurt the team

How much of this is on BK? He’s getting paid ($10 million per year) to make these decisions and put the team in the best possible position to win. He’s closer to the situation or is he too close?

hate to say it - but I have suspicion he is faking that limp a number of times.

%100. Not hating on the guy but he comes up limping after every sack. It's odd. Somehow he is the only QB in football history to get his ankle rolled over every time he gets sacked and then immediately shake it off by the time the next play comes around.

During the game, the announcers said when he limped to the sideline at one point that he got his ankle “re-wrapped “ after a DL fell on him

So he doesn’t throw terrible interceptions?

There’s probably a few people on this board that flip burgers for a living. What’s wrong with that?

Your words, not mine

Mind you - it wasn’t even Nuss who said anything about a ‘warrior’

So it’s clear to anyone with half a brain that you have some sort of axe to grind with Nuss. Strange

I couldn't give two shits about Nuss, I just said terms like that, in athletics in general, are grossly misused

It doesn't matter where or how hard he seems to get hit, he gets up limping and it seemingly disappears by the time the ball is snapped for the next play.

I have no idea if it's related, but I had a weird tendon (maybe ligament?) in my ankle that used to pop out of position all the time in high school. It would hurt like hell for a few seconds then pop back in and was fine. Usually never even swelled up, even if it happened multiple times in a game. Bodies do weird shite, especially when you strain them. Considering how much bigger/stronger/faster these guys are than ANY of us were in my day, I can only imagine it's even more so.

But it is kind of weird seeing him do that over and over. I wonder if it might be a psych out thing, so the other team won't be able to tell when he's ACTUALLY gimpy?

Notices when he took a couple high hits he was limping. His knee is hurt but shakes it off

I believe that’s the knee injury Kelly talked about in early practices.
