Arkansas is the only team who has played the number of games in a row as LSU; look at their season. A lot is said about Bama's SOS, but the most important thing is how their schedule is laid out for success with the two toughest teams far apart. Look at the effects of UGA's brutal schedule. I don't think a team should play more than 6 games in a row before a bye. I think we are really beat up.

If only we could have played a team missing 5-6 starters off of one side of the ball.

Well get ready because we play 9 games in a row to start next season as well. And Game 9 is Ole Miss.

LSU had an opportunity to add a bye week in earlier in the season (Week 3 Kent State). They chose to work their bye weeks in before the biggest games. You can complain that we get UGA vs Kentucky, but I'm pretty sure LSU was happy with where they had their bye weeks scheduled before the season. If we would have cleared the last big hurdle, we would have been perfectly set up. We just didn't.

3 of 4 weeks on road too. it is what it is. the deck will always be stacked against us but it's hard to argue when you don't beat ole miss.

I hate it the most when LSU schedules all of its easiest games consecutively...I wish it would be more mixed up.
