I'm an LSU alum, but I had a bunch of friends at NSULA. Those theatre majors up there know how to throw down! I'm not even sure they knew there was a football team on campus.

TOPS covers tuition, and if you really need it, loans easily covers the rest, including living expenses. You can even get the fed to subsidize the interest for you.

Its one thing to argue that Lacor needs to back down, but please don't use the "not everyone can rely on trust funds" card. It just makes you look silly.

Not everyone qualifies for TOPS. And you make it sound so simple, but I know MANY people who couldn't afford LSU for all 4 years and transferred in as juniors from places like BRCC or LSUA. Not everyone qualifies for a full loan, and sometimes people get scholarships to smaller universities that are more attractive than graduating with 20k of debt (not including living expenses, of course).

The trust fund "card" as you call it was a statement against the kind of a-hole who mocks someone else's financial condition. Typically those people are spoiled douches who have never had to pay a rent check. I can't believe I'm having to explain these things.

i think msu travels a ton better than nsu. There will be some that are of the same cloth as the ul folks that dislike everything lsu, but the majority love the tigers as well as the demons.

That's true. Most LA resident NSU fans are loyal LSU fans...they realize that LSU is the flagship and don't expect to be on their level.

Like others in the state. You know who you are.

I recall LSU looking past McNeese last year. That game scared the shite out of me as it took place.

Northwestern has always been McNeese's beotch! McNeese played hard last year, but face it, they were never a real threat to win that game. LSU by 40 over NSU (only because Les will show mercy) and McNeese by 20 over NSU because they are the second best team in the state and one of the only ones that admit they arent the flagship school!

I've lived in Natchitoches my whole life and currently go to NSU and never before have I seen a demon team more pompous. They legitimately think that they have a chance this week. I'm sitting in their section but will be donning my purple and gold and will be laughing the whole time. GEAUX TIGERS!

they have to think that...they wouldn't be playing college football if they didn't...good for them

Whats the point of even starting this Thread man, LSU is in a different league as NSU. As a NSU Alum i know that, everyone knows that. LSU is the flagship University, of course you are going to support them if your from LA. Let them be cocky, they are playing a major school and getting paid a ton of money to do it. They know LSU is the more talented bunch and will probably drill them.

I'm a graduate of LSU so I guess that makes me okay. Nevertheless, I just hope you don't sit anywhere close to me in TS and.

You sir, are at the top of that list. For you to infer that to be a valid fan of LSU football you must be a graduate of LSU demonstrates just how shallow your water runs in the intelligence stream.

To infer that every person that goes to NSU does so because they are poor demonstrates how narrow minded views cause a dumb person to appear even dumber.

To infer that every person that goes to NSU is not smart enough to go to LSU solidifies your status as both Forum Idiot and Internet bully.

I do commend you on the use of the English language -- you do show a talent for prose. Too bad you're such a dick.

The fact that you refer to NSU as "Grambling on the Bayou" or whatever shite you called it pretty much points out that in addition to your lack of intelligence, you are both a racist and an elitist.

For various reasons - I have attended NSU, LSU, and ULM (back then it was called Northeast Louisiana University). I can tell you, that each school represented the best alternative in the state for the education I was seeking at the time. I can tell you, each also offer some education choices that are just an absolute waste of money.

Only one of them offer native Louisiana football fans the opportunity to watch "big boy" football on a regular basis - that is LSU. There are far more LSU fans than there are LSU graduates. To bash fellow LSU fans because they did not have the opportunity to attend LSU is just poor display of personal character.

Now, I am out.

THIS and fixed it!...I am from Natchitoches and an LSU grad. First, Lacour...you are an arse and you might try amazon.com to search for some Class, any amount you buy would be your first taste of it...

FWIW...My take on the game, I hope LSU smashes them a new one in the first half, has no injuries, clears the bench in second half, probably gives up a score, NSU learns from the experience, enjoys the Pantheon of College Football, collects their check and goes back to improve their facilities and win the SLC to represent LA Look, I grew up going to NSU games in HS...mom, dad, and sister went there and I always have a special place for Natchitoches/NSU...Happy for them and they should feel confident, have no problem with that and would expect nothing but their best effort. Unlike the other patsy games of ULL, LaTech, MSU, ULM, North Texas, etc. I am gonna enjoy this one!

The proper term is called delusional psychosis. This game is over at halftime. Those punks want to play against the big boys, they better hold on to their jocks and call their mamas after the game. This is gonna hurt...bad.
