I don’t think but it means we need to go grab a centerfield type safety from the portal with that last spot

It would if we were bumping the 85 roster limit. Otherwise, 25 pee year. Can carry forward if you sign less than 25.

Not a bad idea. Harris, toles, davis, sage. Am i missing someone? Thats thin at safety, definitely see why this next recruiting class is focusing on the secondary.

And McGlothern probably moves to safety, since he's looking at being the 5th cornerback as a sophomore.
There's no current roster listed on LSU's web site, but I seem to remember that Cameron Lewis was also sticking around for one more year. Somebody might correct me on that.
So far there isn't a lot of value in the transfer portal. I don't think you get better than Hampton in an exchange, which is not a particular endorsement of Hampton (he was horrendous last year).
