There is a repeating pattern. Someone will bring up a legitimate issue with Hawthorne's broadcast and one of the fearless defenders will swoop in with a personal attack without addressing the actual issue.

Since people want proof...I believe I started a Hawthorne game thread one time just to point out his mistakes that particular night. I'll see if I can find it.

No, occasionally some of us are forced to listen to game on radio while driving somewhere. I had to do it this week. And it really is quite awful how bad he its at times. And overall he is not nearly what he used to be. I used to enjoy listen to Jim on radio while drinking whiskey in the backyard 10 years ago. That is not an option anymore. That is what people are criticizing. He is getting old and had lost his usefulness for announcing baseball.

But if I hurt your feelings I am sincerely sorry.
You have a laundry list of all the things that Jim does that do not suit you? You made a list, right? Now that is really adult behavior. You made a list of things that a radio announcer does that bother you.
Tell me do you have this list in front of you at game time? Does it have little boxes so you can check off these errors as they happen? Is that how you enjoy a game?
Does he make all of the mistakes each and every game? How often does he make a specific mistake? Do you chart them? I guess you must so you can come in here after the game and point them out so we can all beat our chests over the incompetence.
Do you grade him?

actually, he makes a frick TON of mistakes to the point where we don't know what's actually happening in the game.
so it kind of defeats the purpose of a play by play guy calling a game when I don't know what the frick is going on because uncle jim can't do his job.

I timed it one game two or so weekends ago for a score update.
he gave one at the top of the commercial break, and didn't give another one until the next commercial break... 19 minutes without a score update
what am I supposed to do with that without checking online on my phone?

For the fricking 14th time, I made a list, in this thread, of legitimate criticisms of Hawthorne's broadcasts.
I'm not sure why you continue to ask if I made a list. I'm not sure why you are trying to make fun of the list since you actually asked someone to make a list earlier in the thread. I'm not sure why you choose to so vehemently attack posters on a personal level that bring up reasonable points.
If you continue to take personal shots at people in this thread, I will RA your posts, which to this point I have kept from doing. You have gotten to the point where your obstinance can be viewed as nothing but trolling.
If you can't discuss the subject of this thread rationally and reasonably, stop posting in it.
