That game was in the bag. Pitching is an obvious issue but I think one we can overcome. What’s disturbing is Jay just keeps trotting a community college athlete out in an LSU uniform and a very unlikable one at that.

GFY. Everything has been said. You are just looking for a scapegoat to take out your life’s frustrations.

Take stock of yourself, man. Look in the mirror and resolve to take control of your life. Shed those things that are weighing you down. THAT’s how a positive thinker handles his frustrations, not bitching about a kid on a sports team.

Has it not been discussed enough already? Have you not been on TG in the past 24 hours?

Griping and complaining Ad nauseam.

Who would you put in there? Kling is injured and Pearson brings almost nothing to the offense with his frequent pop-ups and zero home runs over halfway through the season. Stevenson? He's even worse. Jobert clearly has his problems, but this pitching staff needs all the offensive help that they can get.

Pearson is an easy choice. He puts out good at bats

Didn’t tanks miss that routine grounder right before that to end the inning? Why not blame him? Jay did.

Useless runs that don’t win games don’t make up for missing routine flies that cost games.

Hit him square in the chest. He misplayed it.

It was a rocket that he bodied. Definitely an error because it was right at him but nothing compared to the lazy fly ball that Jobert overran for no reason.

Not sure what that has to do with it. When you let in as many runs as you drive in. And the former is way more of a demoralizing momentum killer for your team.

His best, most clutch at bat was against south carolina on the single. We may not win that game without him. The homers, while great didnt win us a game

Ah, silly me. I didn’t realize that a grand slam in the second inning of game 1 in a SEC series is “useless”.

Look, he made an error (even though it wasn’t officially). He may or may not be our best option in the lineup right now. But there is a real good argument as to why other guys aren’t in his spot. He’s out performed the competition so far this season.

I get why he is being played, i just dont agree with it. Good pitching seems to eat him up. And in the long run i see that as a bigger issue, along with trying to cover ground at td ameritrade

If Mainieri was HC, we could blame him.
It's baseball. No one goes undefeated, yet. It will be OK.

Only in one category. His defense has been bad all year. His baserunning last night was inexcusable.

Now that is sound logic

People just need to quit acting like that play gave up 13 runs last night. Our starting pitching wasn’t good enough, we made 3 other errors elsewhere. Kentucky outhit us for the game, we let a kid who has been completely overmatched at the plate hit late in the game with a runner on base instead of pinch hitting for him…

Good at bats? He's batting less than .250 and has zero home runs.

His OBP is nearly identical to Joberts.
