The kid is a good QB he just been developed the way he should have been.
He's a good athlete but he's not a good qb.
And yes his post game behavior is pretty questionable. I understand as a competitor you're upset but tough shite, get better. Now sack up and support your team, Jennings did it for you.

Were JaMarcus Russell, Matt Flynn, and Zach Mettenberger poorly coached?
Russell and Flynn learned early from who? Mettenberger spent his first few years not at LSU. Name one QB Miles recruited and developed

As fans we're disconnected from the human underneath the uniform. "Just win baby"
Not disconnected at all. Would have killed to go to college on a full ride and get to play for a top tiered program in the country. Would've given 110% and if I got beat out, I would've supported in whatever way I needed to. His antics of running off the field before handshakes are reminiscent of a 3 year old getting sent to the corner. He's inching very close to "whiny bitch" for my liking.

20 TD 10 INT for his career says he is a good QB.
Not great but a decent QB.

The sad part is this kid has all the tools,
he has "all" the tools??? He can't throw an accurate ball. Kind of an important tool for a QB.

Brandon had to know he was not performing at an acceptable level. The manner in which he handled being pulled lacked maturity. LSU needs him to get his game together and until he does he can show leadership from the sidelines.

Amen OP:
We need all of our QBs ready to go when they are called. ANNNDDD we need the coaches putting them in the best position to succeed.
1 qtr THEY DID NOT
3 qtr THEY DID NOT
4 qtr THEY DID NOT
OPEN UP THE DAMN OFFENSE, AND KEEP IT OPEN!!

It's incredible. I'm sure he's a hard worker and great guy but just wasn't getting the job done. To me it just shows how miles doesn't really value the position and importance of a well balanced offense. It even carries over to the receivers. Poor route running, drops, etc. they just don't emphasize the forward pass and never will with miles in control.

Sometimes guys just don't pan out.
exactly...actually, most college players don't pan out. there is not always someone to blame it on...it just happens. the jump from high school to college is very difficult as is the jump from college to pro and the vast majority at each level don't make it to the next level.

He should feel privileged to wear the uniform and run out the tunnel. Too much PC!

If Brandon Harris doesn't know in his heart that he will get a chance to be a hero this year the the LSU season is over.

Is it poor coaching, or is it poor scouting & recruiting? BH6 is a junior, not a freshman, he has had time to learn the playbook vs defensive schemes, should have learned how to throw a screen pass that is catcable, but he hasnt...some folks take longer to grasp things...everyone blames coaching, well, sometimes there is nothing a coach can do, somewhere along the way the athlete has to take some responsibility in his inabilities to get it done...
I would love to see BH6 set records for LSU, but I just don't see it coming soon...

Stop being so PC, NO NO NO, he had his shot and did not get it done.
Showing support for someone who plays for your favorite team is not being PC, it's being a fan. Wanting someone on your favorite team to succeed is not being PC, it's being a fan.
Nobody in this thread is suggesting that Harris be the starter, but people can't help but trash him anyway. That says way more about you than it does about Harris.

Les will start him! were not talking about a sharp coach

Thank you. It took less than 4 replies for this thread to go to shite when all the OP did was give Harris a little encouragement.
No one can shite on a current Tiger like Tiger fans.

Every program, including the ones at the top, have guys that get benched and or transfer out. The whole idea that the QBs aren't coached is ridiculous. Now, you could make an argument that perhaps the coaching staff doesn't always do a good job of building a team around a guy's skill set. They also get very conservative with young QB's, and that's where guys need to prove that they can execute.
