LOL. Kinda a work around explanation, instead of saying we sucked in many areas.
Moore won’t be out all season. They won’t use a game plan intentionally designed not to reveal information to future opponents. There’s no way of knowing if they will drop 2 TD passes in the end zone every game. We don’t know if Nuss will consistently under-throw receivers who have gotten behind the defense. They won’t use Berry in goal line situations. They put themselves in position to score. One game with all those variables tells us nothing about how well they will do in converting those chances to TDs in future games.

Except I do.
Well reading your post confirmed that you absolutely do not.

We will still have two losses in regular season play, no matter what happens, even if the offense improves. I predicted this at the beginning of the season. Two most obvious glaring losses are Ole Miss and Alabama. We could beat one of the other, but we probably lose to some other SEC team on the schedule.

I saw mostly what I expected.
A defense that shut shite down, and an offense that ran a bunch of boring vanilla crap. I think the offense would have looked a lot better with Moore @ C.
I didn't expect LSU to pull out a bunch of stops to beat La Tech and they didn't need to.

quote:That would be Southeastern Louisiana Junior College at Hammond. We play them in 2 weeks. (Call them what you want, they're ALL Junior Colleges in the State of Louisiana outside of LSU, Tulane, Louisiana Tech, Grambling and Human Jukebox University)
As a team, we couldn't put away the weakest opponent on our schedule.

All of the harvest will ready come late October. Before then there will be glimpses and samples of what this team will truly become.

This is a 3 loss team. That offense on Saturday was terrible.

Whole bunch of big buildings in the desert were built from 18-21-year-olds playing down to their competition in spot games. La Tech is good enough to take advantage of a flat team. Call it coaching or whatever you want, but there haven't been many teams that avoid a letdown at some point in the season.
Also, easy to get fired up this year because we seemingly have a very good defense. Those typically don't have off days like good offenses can have, and they travel well.

Yes, you’re right and EVERYONE else is wrong.
