SEC QB play right now is weak. When UK's QB is out, they look below average. When KJ Jefferson is out. Arkansas looks below average. When Bryce Young is out, Bama looks very average.

The best teams this past weekend were UGA, Tennessee, and MSU. They all have very seasoned, talented QBs. Ole Miss would be a close 4th.

LSU gets both Ole Miss and Bama at home (not sure that helps), so who knows?

The one thing that absolutely has to get fixed for any hope is our special teams.

Vandy could too!

I'm glad we don't play Vandy of South Carolina this season.

Honestly probably too optimistic myself, but this season is not over. We can technically still win the West and overall SEC.

I almost bought into this hype last year after the win against Florida…. Then we lost 3 in a row

That’s it. LSU wins out and they own tie breaker on every West team. Nothing else they do matters. The best any can be would be an equal 7-1.

All that said, it won’t happen although anything is possible.

I believe overly optimistic would be expecting us to consistently play like we did against Miss State the rest of the way. It is obviously the high water mark game from the first half of the season.
