Emery is your starter. Cain is a quality Davis-Price fill in.

Why are so many people high on Emery all of a sudden? I think it’s wishful thinking.

I agree that Cain will be the workhorse, kids vision and instincts are just too good. Joe Moorhead and injuries are what held him back the past 2 years. We will have a rotation, but BKs known to have a feature running back

If emery can make the grades and be eligible is the real question. Or is he taking chess and basket weaving this year????

It’s not all of a sudden. People have been high on him since the beginning of the 2020 season. It’s just gone quiet because he wasn’t eligible this year.

He averaged 5 ypc against an all SEC schedule in 2020, but for whatever reason never got past TDP on the depth chart. He was absolutely explosive at times but never really got into a rhythm. He also broke a 54 yard TD against Bama when the game was still within reach. And he looked pretty good catching the ball out of the backfield.

I suspect that, as is common with RB’s, the rotation probably had something to do with pass protection. Many were hoping he would finally take that next step this year but we know how that went.

The dude is a hell of an athlete. He just needs to get it together and prove it.

He was the consensus number one RB in the nation coming out of high school. What are you trying to say?

Knee injury in 2020. Missed 10 months almost. I can’t find where they said what his issue was last year other than Franklin saying he was “dinged up”
