The only concrete poor behavior was the BoD who spoke out. Otherwise, I've seen nothing proven about leaks or otherwise. I don't think there's much Alleva could say to make this look good. Firing a coach is never going to look great going down. I hate for Les to be fired, but if he wants the cash, that's the way it has to be unless they would negotiate a payment following him gracefully bowing out. As of now, it appears, he's going to be fired and will handle it will class.

I was just making the point the barrel isn't empty.

The alternative is a Bowden or Mack situation. Am I right? The fact this is getting so much bad press tells me someone at LSU is making hard decisions and having hard conversations. Good for them. We don't want a Mack or Bowden situation.

It is. It would take a huge 11th hour turnaround somewhere for it to fall through.
FSU hasn't done anything to keep Fisher and calls are already being made to assemble the staff.

This is incorrect. Alleva dumped the info to Scott Rabalais two weeks ago to get the discussion started and see who contacted them with interest as well as signal to the boosters to start making calls through the back channels to agents.
People are making hard decisions, but it's been done in a pretty slimy way. Alleva at least Owed it to miles to be told that they were moving in another direction. After the Arkansas game, the record didn't matter, Miles was gone.
