By winning @State and vs Auburn, this team can go to UK and play loose and see what happens.

UK will certainly be favored, everyone will expect UK to win, and if they do no harm no foul. Won’t hurt LSU’s resume at all.

Point being... no pressure IMO. Just go play and let’s see what happens.

It’s going to be a crazy environment at Rup espicially for some of these freshman tigers. Going to be a hell of a tough game, I think they’ll learn something from it regardless of W or L

KY still has to play TN twice as well after us, they have more pressure to win this one. When we have a close game I can’t watch at the end lol. But not for this one

So no pressure against Tennessee either?

Weak minded mentality. If LSU ever wants to be a big dog it needs to beat the big dogs.

LSU should feel like the games against UK and Tennessee are must wins

Dont know if they can increase their defensive intensity enough to win in Lexington.

Have to protect your home court. A bit more pressure.

If this were a home game I’d agree with you. But Rupp is a buzzsaw of an atmosphere and when you have a team that hasn’t played in many high pressure games it’s best to temper your expectations

If we win then fantastic. But if we keep it competitive and lose then I won’t be melting about it

Kentucky will have a huge game ahead of them on Saturday so LSU is in a really nice spot on Tuesday night

They may not win but they will be in the game.Defense, rebounding and free throws are what keep them in these games.

Wouldn't a loss against ky put us at 0-3 against current top 25? A win would go a long way in future seeding.

Your record against the current AP top 25 doesnt mean shite. Your Quad 1&2 records against the better teams in NET rankings matters though. And LSU should be 5-2 or 6-2 against quad 1 teams and 6-2 vs quad 2. Cant remember if its 5 or 6 wins against quad 1.
