No Killer Instinct
This is the one thing that strikes me again and again with CLM, and I think it effects the team as a whole.

After the first TD I was thinking this game could be a blowout, yet I have seen enough games to know that you don't even think of letting up til late in the 2nd half, if at all. Then on the next possession out goes Hill and in comes Ware. While I like Ware, why are you pulling your starting RB out?

Then there were the first 5 games of the year where Les plays vanilla offense to the point the starters are still playing late in the 4th quarter against teams you should be blowing out. Taking knees with 5 minutes to go against Ole Miss last year just because Mett got free on a bootleg.

You keep playing games with this take it easy attitude and your team will never play to its potential for a full season.

Only time I saw little regard for the other team: After JJ came back last year and CLM wanted to pad his stats. Too bad that doesn't translate for any other QB.

My thoughts exactly. No continuity at all. Everytime Hill did something good he came out of game or we tried to throw a pass with no protection.

It was the peach bowl....it is called APATHY. None of our fans cared about this game....you think the team did?

This has been happening all year. We get up two scores but we can't put anyone away. Even if we get the ball at midfield. Absolutely amazing to me the number of three and outs this team has had on the year.

It's not just this year. LSU passed the 50 yard line once last year in the NC game against Alabama and that is unacceptable. We had a good defense last year but they were not that fricking good. If Les can not see that this offense need to change immediately then Les is the problem and I hate to say that because I like Coach Miles but wake the frick up.

You can bet your arse they cared about this game?

The trademark of Miles team is to grab a lead and hope the other team makes mistakes. There is no "killer instinct." It's a game of attrition.

Absolutely.
The same goes with short passes to beat the blitz. As soon as he completes one its right back to deep drops as if the one short pass is enough. Other teams seem to have the patience to through the 5-8 yard passes as much as 5+ in a row to keep drives going, especially against LSU. And is misdirection so special that it is considered unfair to use it against inferior teams?

Been saying this forever. Refuses to put teams away and it finally caught up to him. As others have said talent alone will not allow him to keep winning these types of games and if things don't change next year, these 4 -5 games he squeaks by will eventually all become losses.
