A different caller told Buddy he was the best in Baton Rouge. :lol

...And that Baton Rouge sports coverage was the best in the country. Whoa.

I'm just gonna wait for Stanford to beat CS Fullerton and then make a trip to B.R. for the Super.

threat of wildfires
Seems like a legitimate concern for that area of the country IMO.

Found a park just next to the stadium and it's posted - Barrington Recreational Park at 333 S. Barrington. They have BBQ pits there for use so they do allow grilling.

Yes, that wasn't a typo. he's their #4, & a senior to boot

at this point I'm praying we get Cole, their ace. He's got the worst ERA of their big 4, control issues, not the best track record vs good teams, and is a real hot head arrogant kid

the other 2 starters are also studs. this bauer kid is a finalist for a few postseason awards, and freaking filfthy

I don't think even the "Hippies" deserve to have their houses burned down from a wildfire started by a loose spark courtesy of a drunken Louisiana Neck trying to BBQ.........

head's up. I am pretty sure you can't walk from that park to the stadium b.c of fences, woods, homes, etc. It's prob less than a mile away as the flies, but a couple miles driving b/c there is no direct way to get there.

eta: i will right near there tom night. I can check around closer and post back.

I play hoops at that park on some Saturdays and i have never seen, heard, seen any sign of, or heard anyone mention UCLA's stadium.
