Cameron eluded to changing the offense up after the loss to ND. Hopefully Miles allows him to do so. Need to get our RBs and QBs in open space more. Use the whole field. We shall see. I'm optimistic though!

I'll be curious to see that because we run a pro-style offense out of heavy sets and have 2 "dual threat" QBs. It doesn't make sense. If there is no effort to get these guys out on the edge and stop opponents from loading the box we basically forcing ourselves to play at a disadvantage.

No point in recruiting five star wide receivers if you can't throw it to them.

Agreed. We need to see major improvement at QB, otherwise it's a waste of talent.

For crying out loud the 2013 offense was ok but not that great. Depends if you call 6th in points per game and 7th in yards per game in the SEC. Stop saying it was great, wasn't near as good as it should have been.

He'll have more experience than either Winston or Manziel did entering their Heisman seasons.

This isn't actually true. Harris didn't start playing organized football until 2012. Nobody understands how raw he truly is.

Yet, it's almost a given that they'll both field better offenses with better QB play than LSU next year.

Sad but true dammit.

^^^^ sorry should I have done per quarter? Per game is total divided by number of games. So what measurement do you prefer?

Per Play

Any idiot can put up 400 yards if you run 80 plays a game.

In 2013, LSU was 8th in conference in Yards/Game and 11th in Plays/Game... 4th in Yards/Play.

Of the teams listed ahead of them, only Auburn ranked above LSU in Run:Pass ratio.

LSU was ranked 1st in Yards/Attempt
LSU was ranked 7th in Yards/Carry

We were low in Yards/Game because we frequently got an early lead on teams and then attempted to "shorten the game"

Yes, we were. Any ranking also fails to consider that we played our bowl game without our starting QB en route to a 302 yard performance with only 82 yards through the air.

Thing about machines is, they only operate as quickly as they're pressed. Our philosophy is to ease off once we've built a lead and end the game as quickly as possible.

Did we suddenly get a proven quarterback and I missed it??? Yes 21 starters are awesome, some best in the Country but that 1 is the reason we aren't winning.

The last time we started a season with a proven QB was 2006.

What really sucks is that if Harris wins the job, he wont have that much experience
Winston and Manziel had Zero experience going into their first year as a starter.
