Why the melt over this? It's not like his offense is groundbreaking, cutting edge or anything close to that. It's all motion before the snap, easy to copy if that's what is wanted. Whatever the clash is between him and O is irrelevant. It's all about LSU.
There's plenty of good coordinators out there and it all boils down to play calling and having the players execute the call. Seriously, do you think Saban, Swinney, Smart.....would covet his services? The answer is "No"!
So again I ask, why the melt?

It’s not about Canada per se. it’s about the O way. It’s about the cancer that’s spreading. It’s about a significant portion of our fan base sticking their heads in the sand and ignoring the fact that none of this is shocking based on past performance. It’s about the new hope and pray standard.

I would say hell no and if that is the direction coach O takes and it's more proof he is worried more about working with his buddies than he is getting the best talent at OC.
If he goes out and gets a big name that is more "his style" then so be it but then ask yourself this: Why in the hell did he go out and get Canada in the first place?

Canada's offensive strategy is designed to hide a weak offensive line, which we needed this year but will not need next year. Oeaux is going to bring in someone that can get the best production from our talent. If you don't believe he has been working behind the scenes to get THAT GUY, your Oeaux hatred idiology has blinded you. I was speaking to a former A&M guy, who has a Superbowl ring with the Pats and he said that he is impressed with who Oeaux is placing around himself.

Here's what I know:
1. 2018's recruiting class is 4 signees away from being
elite.
2. Replacing Grimes with Cregg appears to be an even swap
at worst (hope I'm spelling his last name correctly).
Grimes is a class act. In all honesty he didn't do
much prior to this year and he's being replaced by
someone with an NFL pedigree. Advantage LSU.
3. One of the best DC's in football is Aranda and he's
all ours for the foreseeable future.
4. O is the head coach, whether the Nega "O's" like it or
not and he has a chance to have a 10 win season.
So, put aside your anti "O" bias and let him run the program. I believe he will be successful, but only time will tell.

Literally none of that is true. None of it.
The class isn’t going to be elite. Not even tip 10.
We don’t know shite about Clegg other than what has been told to us through the LSU fsports media propaganda machine. He was a fricking asssitant in the NFL. Not the O line coach.
Aranda isn’t here for the foreseeable future by any stretch. In fact. I predict now that he will be gone by this time next year. He’s smart enough to not let this clown ruin his career.
