In '95 LSU goes to their first bowl game since '88 (only their second bowl win since McClendon), which is huge for recruiting. Then they win 19 games in the two seasons after that. They were getting better athletes than they had gotten since Arnsparger. You could see that talent was there in the next two seasons even though the wins weren't.
I'm tired of people acting like the LSU football program was Lazarus and Nick was Jesus.

You do strike me as someone who would win the powerball and do nothing but bitch the rest of your life that you had to split it w another winning ticket.

I agree PEEJ is a douche and has no clue what he's talking about, but asserting that graduating from LSU is some kind of prerequisite for being a die-hard fan or for making reasonable critiques (not PEEJ critiques) is about one of the douchiest claims that one can make. No one cares that you graduated from LSU or that you're "successful".

I'm not like some Ole Miss person that thinks if you don't graduate from there that you don't have the right to be a fan. I also realize that not all people get the opportunity to get an advanced education, due to different circumstances. If you ever meet me out partying before a game, I'm quite sure you may have a much different impression of me than the one you apparently have. Again, I've put a lot into LSU over the years, and I take offense to someone that constantly bashes LSU and Miles that obviously hasn't stepped foot in a classroom. It's easy to tell with his/her though process that there is a lack of intelligence. Questioning certain things if fine...I do as much...but the constant unrealistic bashing is ridiculous. The more I think about it, I wouldn't be surprised if Alabama or other schools actually pay individuals to troll here....Peej would fit that bill.

oh, and you are actually trying to say you have more cred than me for commenting on LSU? I had season tickets likely before you were even born and have put more money into this school than you likely have made in the last 5 years...easily. Not being arrogant, just being honest, since you try to substantiate your credibility.
