He went to the Miami Dolphins. He didn't go straight to Alabama. Everyone knows he wanted his old job back. If it wasn't such a PR nightmare, you know people would have sent Les packing with what they know now.

Best coach in the business vs. a retard. You make the call.

He was the DC for Bill Bellicheck. The same reason Muschamp is so respected now is the same reason Saban is/was then.

Grow up people.

I think that picture is from one of his awesome losses here, a 45-16 arse whipping at the hands of UGa.

Nick Saban made LSU. LSU made Nick Saban.

Interdependence worked well for both programs. Neither has outdone the other, nor are they supposed to.

Bama is getting stronger. LSU is not as strong.

Wonder what the difference is.

2005 SEC championship under Miles

34-14 UGA. Selective memory I guess. Hey quick question, how many title games did Saban lose @ LSU?

Why would anyone keep up with a DC of a team that had 3 losing seasons in a 4 yr period?

If Les had taken the Michigan job....Nick Saban would be our coach today and we would have at least one more MNC and going for another.

For the same reason the Pats hired the head coach of that team. Sometimes you're dealt a hand you can't control. The Browns have had poor ownership for a long time. It's not like college where you can just recruit anyone you want.

The reason Saban was so respected was because he learned under the best football coach on the PLANET. Kirk Ferentz (well repected) and Pat Hill (well respected) were also on that staff.

Sorry Mrs. Jackson, I am fo real....I thought the OP was talking about Nick. You don't want to compare all the bad losses and close wins between Nick & Les again, because your tired arse argument would lose AGAIN. frick Saban and douchy LSU fans like you.

If Deitzel was coaching at Alabama this weekend, i'd punch him and kick him while he was down, all the while singing Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer...go to hell Alabama if I could get away with it.Wtf is wrong with you people? I might give Saban a polite applause if he was back in TS with his '03 team at halftime of a game in 2023....that's it.

I respect what he did here. He put LSU on the national map.

Learn some history first before you talk out of your arse. People couldn't understand why we weren't nationally relevant since the 1970s. And even then, we were getting beat by the elite teams of Nebraska.

Saban came in and changed the whole facility landscape at LSU. The lofty facilities that we brag about are because of HIM. He set up the plans and called the meeting with Bertman, Emmert, etc. This is a fact. As an LSU alum, I am grateful that his vision has helped us sustain top recruiting classes and championships. He's the best coach we've ever had. As a die hard LSU fan, how can I not appreciate what he did for this program.

If you read the notes from Tebow's visit to BR, he almost committed because of the student athletic facility. His parents were blown away and if we hadn't had so much depth at the time, we might have gotten him. It's stories like this that stick out to me.

Look how well Corey Webster, Travis Daniels, & Laron Landry are doing at the next level. All played in our secondary. What is Saban's expertise again? I forget.

Miles has produced some killer O-Lineman though
