People are going to deny up and down, even in anger, that all those rumors and bullshite DON'T hurt the program.
They're wrong. It IS hurting the program. It IS hurting recruting.
Should we be all happy and jumping around cause we got blown out 21-0? HELL NO! But BRING IN SOME PERSPECTIVE to the situation. STOP with the hate mongering, rumor spreading bullshite.
It's ok to vent frustration on the coaching staff but when you start making up things, it takes a life of it's own.

I wonder if Stoops had to go through this with Oklahoma message boards after USC stomped them in the Orange bowl...55-19 (9 of those points came in the 4th qtr)

Won't matter. The Know-It-Alls that post on this site really and truly believe that this nonsense doesn't hurt the program.

A lot of you people here really are pathetic. I had some of the worst experience of my life last week with Bama fans, but honestly, see LSU fans literally eat their own hurts. It really does.

EXACTLY. This shite isn't about the "rant" anymore. THis is what is being discussing in the hallways, on the parade grounds, at peoples jobs.
My Dad doesn't even visit TD, he comes home from work telling me all the time "Man, I heard some strange stuff today from the guys at work about LSU." then goes to tell me the rumors he's heard.
shite is out and in the open and it doesn't do a damn bit of help to the program.

As for me, I am so burnt from the last 12 days I am probably just going to take a break from it all. Rant on rantards!
As for J Vincent (one of my favorite all time Tigers!!!!), perhaps the athletic department should explore banning the use of twitter for coaches, players and staff as well. That is where most of the rumors explode from in the first place.

I still do not understand what people expect Miles to say at this point. He gave his reasoning why he stuck with JJ vs. Lee but it was not acceptable to most. He will not throw anyone under the bus. All he can do is say his coaching gameplan was poor. It didn't work and he did not make adjustments to correct it. Would everyone be happy then? Hell no. Let it drop . . . 13-1.

This problem with accountability and responsibility may be more deep rooted than we know. It sounds like it infects the entire football mentality. A lot of people feel like you really should not question or criticize Miles for his decisions.
Meanwhile,
I'm sitting in my office at work wondering if people truly realize how their coaching failure, stubbornness, incredibly poor judgment, and indefensible treatment of a loyal productive player affected the program in the worst way.
