small time games bring out the people who only go to one game a year and have no fricking clue about how to get around campus. the season ticket holders (most of them at least) understand where to park and how to leave to go home.
Been a season ticket holder for years. The increased traffic and parking controls are making it worse than it ever used to be.

You people seem to be missing the point about the entry points being closed early, an unannounced part of the new policy, that prevented people, like me, who wanted to pay from accessing those empty spots. That's fricking boneheaded!

The goal of the traffic control points has become to reroute traffic away from campus, and that's the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do.

I usually get to the interstate in 5 -7 minutes because I take advantage of the contra flow and laugh at all the boneheads stuck in traffic who don't understand it...

Closing Dalrymple Drive inbound has only been a policy for the last two seasons. When it used to be open, it used to be a good route right into the heart of campus. No problems, delays, etc. Now that they block it off and reroute traffic to northbound Highland Rd., traffic backs up and can eat up an hour of barely moving. That makes no sense. None. Laugh all you want.

saw the team sing the alma mater for the East upper deck where I sit. Walked down the ramps, back to my car and was on the interstate in under 30 minutes. Not sure where your parking/traffic issue was.

+1 except I was in the NEZ

I parked in lot k and went Skip Bertman to River Road. It was the quickest I have ever made it home, and I left probably 45 minutes - 1 hour after the game ended. I can't speak for all paths out, but it seemed like they had that figured out.

Granted, the stadium was pretty empty by the end of the game, so I will judge if they figured out traffic for that area after a close game.

you just have to know what you are doing .. most of the people complaining are the ones that have to park close enough to tiger stadium to lick it .. duh .. you are going to get stuck in traffic .. pay me now or pay me later .. i park near the ag center and just hit stanford after the game and zip home with no problem ... don't be scared to walk a little bit before and after the game ..

exactly, no traffic for me because I was aware of the traffic patterns, and parked accordingly. it really isn't that hard to do

I parked in the Levee Lot and took a left onto River...usually I hit Brightside and follow it down to Burbank and head home. I get there within 30 minutes usually. Took me over an hour to get home.

Getting to the game was worse, coming in on Nicholson, two lanes then the cops create a bottleneck about 4 blocks from campus, added at least 45 minutes to the drive in.
